Welcome! Are you strictly a bowhunter, or do you rifle hunt also? I am a two season hunter rifle/bow, but I always enjoy the late archery hunt, it can be alot of fun.

Nice buck. I would shoot him in a nanosecond.

Thats awesome Scott. -
Maybe this cooler wet weather will get them spunky a little earlier. I can't hunt again until January, but am looking forward to some archery rut hunting if time allows.

I got the P.M, I will contact you when you get home.

Congratulations on the new addition to the family Bro. Your wife is a tough cookie for giving birth unaided by modern chemistry

I am thankful for all things good. Family, friends and last but not least, God and all his beautiful creations in which we get to roam in during our hunts. A special thanks to all the great people I have met at CWT.com. Keep the faith brothers and sisters

Very nice.

Yeah, its amazing how quick those critters can move. I watched a sow and 2 cubs once that cruised a ridge in 10 minutes and it would have taken me close to an hour to do the same.

Brent, OK, I have 3 T-bones ready to BBQ the day you're there. Any idea which day? I should be down in time for a Saturday afternoon glassing session 2:00p.m approx , and I can stay overnight through Sunday miday. -
You went elk scouting and all you got was that tiny little bear??????? Whats up with that Congrats man, that is one big ole bruin. Did he have a scarred up face? Usually when they are that big they have done some fightin.

Where the heck is this?

Absolutely clueless on that one. -
Wherever it came from, that is one giant buck.

I feel the same. Some good bucks taken by guys, gals, and the youth hunters as well. Some good winter and spring rains would be a huge boost to our deer herds, the summer rains are great for feed and horn growth.

I used to be a long time member of NRA, but after I started donating a little money, my mailbox was flooded with letters from NRA begging for more, and it got to be a real turn off. I am all for the 2nd amendment and the effort NRA puts into fighting for our rights, however, sometimes I feel my money is going to somebodies 6 figure salary and all the wining , dining, and back scratching that the big wigs do. I could be wrong, but that is how I feel. With our new nitwit president BO, I feel the time is right to add more "strength in numbers" to our cause, and I will be checking out Gun owners of america for sure.

Nice buck. Congrats to the young huntress!

Nice ram. I hope you have some pics and a great story to share after your hunt ends. Good luck!

Why do we hunt Coues?
Snapshot replied to Red Rabbit's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
I hunted mule deer since I was 14, then a few years back I came across this website and enjoyed reading what everyone had to say about Coues hunting and their experiences. I actually cruised the site for about a year before becoming a registered member. So I have been starting to hunt Coues the last few years, and its all thanks to CWT.Com and its members! As to hunting Coues, I just enjoy the outdoors and the thrill of the chase, and the great habitat in which we chase around those elusive whitetail. -
I will be more than happy to eliminate one of those deer killers for you!
-
Those are some fat little oinkers!

Thats a heck of a date. Gongrat's on some good bucks. Great story and pics.
