Nice group of Bulls! How was the weather up there? I am heading up that way later this month for a few days of R&R and checking out some more areas if I get my deer draw, no elk tag for me this year.

They mentioned in another New Mexico article that someone had been feeding a mountain lion in the area for about a month so that photographs could be taken.

I hope it will be sooner this year but I would guess the week of July 14th?

My place is in Sahuarita, just a little north east of Green valley, 20 minutes south of Tucson Approx.

Because of the injury to my hand I missed out on my annual Lee's ferry trip this year and the Flagstaff get together, I go at least once a year. I will probably have to wait until September. We will probably BBQ Friday night and have a few cold ones, from my house you can see fireworks in all directions.

In one of the other threads I mentioned I like Kool-aid when I ride, but forgot to mention that's Colorado Style kool-aid

I have always resisted using trail cams because it just doesn't seem fair, but since all you guys are doing your best to corrupt me , with all your great pictures, I just might have to buy one and try it out

Funny thing is, my wife, who is not into hunting, really likes antler art and furniture, go figure? Everytime we go to Showlow /Pinetop, she loves looking at all the log furniture and antler stuff. Maybe thats my que to take advantage ?

Thats a really nice setup. The only time I get to shed hunt is when I am actually hunting, but pictures like that make me want to get out and search.

Thanks TJ. I am trying to be as informationaly accurate as possible as to the best success strategies for warm weather hunting and techniques as possible, and just wanted to get a general consensus from archers. Appreciate your sentiments on my injury. I will probably not be able to archery hunt this year.

I know of a spot in unit 34A where that archery hunter was murdered in 2004, but I have never seen the one you are refering to. We scattered my Dad up in unit 27 last year, and I am packing in a memorial marker for him this fall.

Yeah. I have heard lots of rumors over the years and his run in's with the law and Boone and Crockett fraud. But I just chalked it up to his ego and stupidity. But a conviction for stolen sheep heads and stealing public land elk shows what a hypocrite he really is. I have his book "How to find Giant Bucks" and he actually responded to a letter I wrote him once. But all his talk about ethics and what his Dad taught him turned out be to be a bunch of hogwash.

I wonder if they are fighting or just playing!
