Hunting unit 7 years ago I found a downed spike. It was getting bloated and starting to stink a little. Smell is how I found it. Called G&F and told them about it. There answer was and I quote, "Probably lost by some hunter who couldn't find it. (duh) If it is starting to stink there is nothing we can do anyway. Thanks for letting us know". Seemed a little non concerned to me.

might have been, but i know a lot of other people that have had the same issues. i am also not a big fan of exposed turrets. when using an eberlestock backpack scabbard, they have a tendency to roll when you pull out your rifle and stuff it back in the case. I agree. That def. will be a concern when I order it. Do they make turret covers for the exposed models? I have owned 1 Burris and a couple Bushnell scopes but it has been years. I never liked either one but they may have gotten better in recent years. I found they were like the bottom of the barrel low priced scopes back in the day.

Adam, I was with 5guys this weekend and his load is spot on. 100yrds to 600 it's hitting great. Now as far as my old eyes are I suck with my rifle and a 3x9 scope. Maybe time for lasic.

Well, Anti's have been saying for years that the way us hunters are going there won't be any wildlife left in the future. Well, BECAUSE of us hunters and wildlife conservation efforts the animals are more abundant and in better shape that they have been on the far past. Look at the records that are resent being broken with huge animals. That's because of US and wildlife conservation monies generated by US. ok. I see what your saying. I guess when I see a deer with 4 points on each side and an eye guard. To me that would be a 4x4. Not and 8 point or even a 10 point counting eye guards. I have been told anything you can hang a ring on is considered a point. Confusing to me.

Wish I could help. I have asked friends who live where they could use it. I live in Phoenix..ie "the armpit of the world" and have no place to put it. Love it tho.
