I won't Get in to a pi$$ing match. I will just say that ONE of the best eating fish IMO and thousands of other people is the Redfish out of the Gulf. They are true fighters and have beautiful large white flaky filets. You can catch them on fly rod, shrimp, (bubba gump is the best) lures, squid, and other baits. I will say that Flounder is a very good eating fish as well. They are part of the Halibut family. Working on shrimp boats as a kid I got the chance to eat numerous types of fish and have found that sport fish are fun to catch and some are very good eating but it's hard to beat Redfish. If you ever go try to get with Malcom Savoie in Cameron, LA. They have a harbor right there and he can steer you to the people in the know.

Whatever Brian..the way you made your comment WAS directed at me. I have been fishing salt and freshwater for 40 years. I have worked and fished on boats from Cameron Louisiana to the Baja Tip..Your opinion is no greater than mine. Enough said.

Pay no attention to what I said then. Havasuhunter must be an expert about this. I didn't say they weren't fun to catch. (tuna) I just said if you can get some bottom fishing and and catch some good fish like grouper or sea bass they are better eating. And yes yellow tail is not bad. But I don't know if Havasuhunter realizes.......YELLOWTAIL ARE NOT TUNA!!!!!!!!! They are part of the Jack family.

World record Elk 2010 SCI High fence

This elk will not score in P&Y or B&C beings it was not a fair chase animal. SCI is the only one to score this record and it also states it was high fenced area.

ISO Unwanted old or freezer burned meat.

That's what I was wondering too.
  15. Wonderful video Jay and some awesome bulls. From someone who has only had the chance to shoot 2 spikes I don't know if I could have the patients to pass some of those. I hope this year I will find out. I have an elk tag in a good area. Thanks again for sharing a great hunt.

    Women's Cartridge

I think it depends on the rifle too. A good recoil pad can make all the dif. For example. My dad had a rem 20 gauge auto shotgun I hated to soot cuz it kicked like a mule compared to my 12 gauge 870.

Can you help me work on my Wood?

Not an expert but i think a good wood filler putty would do it. It hardens (excuse the expression) and I have used it on other wood projects. It will also hold the stain as well. Don't know if an epoxy will do that. And yes ..my first thought was...stay away from this topic

    Trespassing

Exactly what my police friend told me. You have to tell them and then if they do it again they can be cited for trespassing.

    Trespassing

Talked to a cop friend and he said he couldn't look up the number. Against policy. He said the only thing to do is fence or if you catch the guy there again you physically have to tell him never to come back or he will be charged with trespassing as long as you have it posted.. A witness with you would be good too.

Bald Eagle & other photos from my canoe trip

Wife and I were at willow springs lake trolling around when we saw 1 sitting on a branch cackling up a storm. Then we heard and saw the mate circling around over head. We watched with such awe as it was so graceful in flight. All of a sudden he swooped down within 20 ft of our boat, extended his talons and scooped up a 2 pound trout and flew off to his mate. They were cackling at each other for a few minutes then flew off. We were so amazed at what just happened and then realized...what idiots we were for not grabbing our camera. Either way we still have the pics in our head I guess. Great photos. TY for sharing
