murfys69law replied to murfys69law's topic in Classified Ads
Thanks guys.. appreciate the info. -
Vossy, I compared your new online results to mine, If you look at it, it starts form the top with the most current date and goes down after that. The top of your page shows not drawn for Turkey. Thats the latest and greatest according to there info you posted. You only show 2 elk points as well, not 3

Need Help (Hunting Clothes Layering)
murfys69law replied to couesfreak23's topic in Other Hunting Gear
My base layer is regular ole underwear and a light t-shirt. I am lucky I have a brother in the Army and he gave me a pair of his Silk thermos. They are awesome. They are light but very warm and don't eat you legs up or constrict you. Then next a good pair of socks preferably wool but no to heavy depending on the time of year. December you could be hunting in short sleeve shirt in mid day. I wear carhart long sleeve t-shirt next, then a good scent control camo t-shirt after that, my camo jacket last. A camo knit cap if needed. I wear my regular wranglers over thermos with my leafy pants. It can be cold as heck in the morning but when the sun comes up it can get warm. Just depends on the unit you are hunting in. A good pair of gloves at first then my light camo shooting gloves later. I have 3 pair of boots. Waterproof all of them. Some are heavier then others. Redwing is a good brand but thats my opinion. -

No..I understand that. I have been talking to friends that had that tag 2 years in a row and they both got nice bulls. 5x5 and a 340 6x6. The problem they said was USO outfitters giving them crap. Telling them, this is our area and were are hunting here. I guess USO thinks because they put in for that area they own it. They just ignored them and killed nice bulls which they said they worked for as well. If everyone remembers, USO was the outfitter that sued AZGFD years ago to try to make them give more NR tags and WE WON...hahahaha USO. Ty shedcrazy...i am totally excited about a tag..been 8 years...woot woot

I've heard some people use Anti-Freeze. Never have but maybe it works. -
Great deal. I got lucky and just bought a 10x14 Kodiak Canvas from Cabelas bargain cave for $400. I couldn't pass that up. GL with the sale tho. It should go fast I would think.

End of the line, Trapping season 2014/15
murfys69law replied to Lance's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Don't trap here but did when I lived in Louisiana. Muskrat, Nutria, Mink, Otter. Just wondering how many cats you're allowed and what it's doing to the conservation with the amount of cats you got. Were they all from the same area? Nice pics as well.- 14 replies

Just left mrs125coues yard sale. What a great lady and just confirms my belief in CWT. There are so many good people here and it was a pleasure to meet her. Bought a great duffel bag for my new Kodiak Canvas tent but had to leave quick as I was really eying the rifles she had plus all the other good stuff. If i had brought one home I would be getting divorced. Thanks mrs125. It was great to meet you.
