When I do go elk hunting, I will be bringing my Savage Axis .308. Still testing which factory ammo it likes. So far I've gotten good results with 150gr Core-Lokt. Ok results from 180gr Core-Lokt. Got some Federals 180gr but have yet to try them. Soon I hope.

Congrats to all the Cubs fans!!! Was a great game to watch updates on my phone (while watching my son play a scrimmage game with his baseball team), listen on the radio on the way home and watch the last half inning on TV.
