Getting ready for quail
bgshooter replied to azbirdhunter88's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I would so take you up on this if I didn't already have 2 things in line I need to do Saturday (kid's baseball practice & going scouting for my deer hunt). I was just thinking "wonder if anyone would be willing to let a newbie quail hunter hunt with them...guess this answered that question Good luck and be safe out there. Would really like to try hunting\eating quail one of these days. -

Watch Where You Step - The Aftermath / How to Skin That Snake

Watching that gave me goosebumps. How the heck is it still moving like that without a head? -
Well that's too bad. Thanks for letting me know.

If he's coming to Peoria, I'll take a quart.

I'd say my low goal is just to be out there but that's too low. At the very worst, I'll be camping and hiking with my gear. So let's bump it up a notch. My low goal is to get a chance to shoot at any coues with an antler...hit or miss. My high goal is to hit the shot and recover the buck.

LOL reminds me of me and my friend's conversation while we were dove hunting. He kept saying clip..I kept saying mag...and he looked confused each time I said it. I noticed and I kept doing it just for fun. Good times.

How old were you when you started hunting big game?
bgshooter replied to Zeke-BE's topic in The Campfire
I was 37 when I went on my first big game hunt that was last year. Family doesn't hunt and I never even thought about hunting as a kid. My sons have gone squirrel and rabbit hunting. Brought them dove hunting but they just retrieved. I just put in for javelina with my 11 year old son for this spring so hopefully that'll be his first big game hunt. -

I bought the bike at about 27k miles on January 2012. Has less than 37k miles now. I kept service records for the time I've owned it. I'm willing to show to anyone interested. Other than the issues listed above, this bike is ready to ride. My wife and I have not had anytime to get out since we're busy with kids\sports and work. Would like to find a new home for this bike. I'd be interested in cash and partial trades. Interested in firearms (pistols and rifles), ammo (9mm, 22lr, .380, 38 special, .243, .308.) and glass (scopes & binos). Also wouldn't mind picking up a travel trailer or toy hauler to replace our popup. Let me know if you're interested and what you have as far as trades go. Thanks!!!
