Wow! Maybe you forgot what you said in one of your earlier posts: "People often justify their actions by trying to cast all actions in the same light. Equating radios with binos for example." Comparing this to poaching or child molesting is very extreme and way off base. We are talking about judging a very well known and respected man for using a tactic that is very much with in the law and does not infringe on anybody elses rights. In one of your posts earlier on this topic you mention that the use of radios "allows the hunter to evade the deer's innate surrvival tools", how so? If that is your main concern then is the use of scentlock, no scent sprays, no scent laundry detergent and all other scent eliminating products considered to be unethical or "unfair chase" to your standards? By the way, what "fair chase" standards are you refering to? Something else you said earlier has me a little bit confused as well: " As far as the advantage of using radios...I have tried it and it is a huge advantage which is why it is not considered fair chase. Just think of this. If it didn't offer a significant advantage why would people use them?" Shortly after this you stated: "Some guys think using hounds is cheating or not fair chase. I'd argue otherwise." You don't think using hounds to tree a lion or a bear is a huge advantage? If it wasn't then why would people use them? Some thing else you said earlier was "Congrats (seriously) on another great buck Randy but when are you going to take the next step and try to do it fair chase? How many do you need to kill before you need another challenge? So why are'nt you going after all the guys who use hounds to take record book lions and bears. Why aren't you asking them when they are going to "take the next step" and try to do it without hounds? How come your not asking them how many bears or lions do they need to kill before they need another challenge? Using hounds or not, killing a lion or bear is a huge challenge just the same as taking a record book mule deer, radios or not, is a huge challenge. What's next? Camoflauge also "allows the hunter to evade the deer's innate survival tools"? We could go all day on this! -Tracy

I completely agree! Although I don't use radios, I don't see anything wrong with it. You obviously do see something wrong with it but that doesn't mean that I am going to judge you for having different thoughts on the matter. There needs to be different opinions and feelings to keeps things stable and balanced. -Tracy

Well the last time I posted pics I got alot of advice on ways to get better pics from my trail cam. Keeping that in mind, my friend Frank (Kaffer62) and I reset our cameras and boy did we get a lot better pictures. No couesdeer but still some good pictures, specially since I have a turkey tag for this unit. Thanks for every bodies help! The 1st pic is blury but I'm pretty sure that there's an antelope running away while the does continue to hang out. We're guessing the last one is a javelina.

Do you have any idea how to go about getting in contact with a land owner up there? I would think that any land owner that cared about the antelope herds on their property would be more than happy to let me hunt coyotes on their land. Thanks for the help! -Tracy

I don't hunt units 22 or 23 but I do feel your pain. I hunt muleys in unit 42 every year and it too is no longer open in December. 42 isn't open in the early season so the only time I can hunt 42 now is in Janruary. Not cool! -Tracy

Sorry AZOnecam but that is completely wrong! You can not purchase an over the counter tag or even put in for the draw for ANY big game tag in Arizona without purchasing an AZ hunting license first. WFGinNM- Im sure your license is probably in the mail and just has'nt arrived yet. -Tracy

Good job to ya! Nice work with the second cam! You are very lucky that your cam was still there. Checked my cam last weekend and got a little worried when I found horse apples and horse tracks bout 50 yds from my cam while I was walking in. Some SOB on horse back didn't steal it but piled up sticks in front of it so it wouldn't take any more pics. They did it after the battery died so i didn't get any pics of them. My cam was locked up tight and I am pretty sure that it would have been gone if it wasn't. Anyway, good job and I hope you catch them SOB's! -Tracy

+1 Bob +1 for me. My dad alway told me when I was growing up "if God wanted you to chew $h!t then he would have put teeth in your a$$". Never been much for anything that was self destructing but I can say that I would rather be around people who chew than people who smoke. At least people who chew don't put everyone around them at risk. -Tracy

As if that buck isn't respectable! I know you guys just got "The Elk" of all elk and now you probably want "The Muley" of all muleys, but that is a pretty respectable buck! Don't be so hard on yourself. I would love to have a buck like that! -Tracy
