Thats crazy! Hope AZ doesn't do the same. All of my guys were asking if we were shutting down. I told them we will clean our tools and be aware of our spacing with each other and follow CDC rules, so my guys will have money the following week. If they shut down city inspectors or banks then Im shut down. Hope all goes well with your nephews

Yes it is and its sad. But also 7700 people died today in the United states from other medical issues. With the confirm cases its a 4% chance you will die from it. Medical teams believe the cases are double that just not identified. But deaths are documented. So that means you have a chance of 2% that you can die. But first you need to get the virus. You still have a greater chance to die this weekend from a car accident. The only thing we can do is help mitigate the spread. Help the elderly and your neighbors

I stand corrected on my deaths. We have 3000 and italy has 10,000

We have over 20,000 confirm cases more than Italy which puts us over 100k. We have about 1,300 deaths. Italy is over 4500 deaths. Now lets read the facts...... Italy has more per captia of elderly people. Which are almost all the cases they have. And lots of them have existing conditions. Italy by culture greets each other with kisses on the check, especially the elderly. Italy on record has more serious cases than we do. Somethings we need to ask but we don't have answers yet. How many elderly have survived and recover? How many people get it and it has no affect on them. (grant it they can spread it) How many people on record are in their 50s, 40, 30s, 20s, teens, children. The news will say and freak people out and say there have been 3 deaths etc etc below 50 years old. Well what was their age. Did they have existing problems etc etc. We have little details thats it. Not saying this is not a problem, but Italy and the medical community already said they were expecting some high death rates from Italy. In AZ the medical community was expecting to see higher case results because they already knew people had it we just don't know who. Now when the cases start ramping up news media starts throwing it out there Covid-19 just jumped up 200% in AZ. Again stop scaring people it just makes it worst.

Why is it on here or social media it I point out facts about automobile death rates, swine flue facts, or regular flu, and media scared everyone resulting in no rational thinking that they come on and assume everyone here is not caring about whats going on or doing their part, and saying this is not a real thing. I could be wrong but most people on here said nothing about how this is not real. Or say they are not doing their part. -Swine flu was real! Where was media and everyone else in the country? NO where! Life went on -Seasonal flu this year in US 55,000 people. Is their life less important then the Covid-19?? -10,000 alcohol automobile death rate and all the domestic violence but we are not shutting down alcohol. They tried that and it backfired. You can go on and on, all I am pointing out is the fact there are many things going on but we only care about this Covid-19. A friend of mine just told me she found out test results that she has breast cancer. Now she can't even set up a time to go get a mamogram to see how serious this is or if its spreading fast. We freaked everyone out to rush to hospitals, and take all the TP over something we had already gone through before with Swine flu. People keep their cool, news companies stop scaring everyone, and everyone does their part to mitigate the spread, and life can go on instead of cutting our own wrist at the same time.

Thats fine! I agree. But nearly 1.25 million people die in road crashes every year and 35,000 in the US. Do we stay home and not do anything? We just live with those odds. Everyone here has a better chance of dying in a car crash this year instead of corona. IF we are doing everything to save human life a working society will not exist! There needs a machine of economics to work and move forward. Just strange we don't give a crap of all the other stuff that kills us but we let media freak us out and consume us. Again I still think its a huge problem and we can do our part. Just like we need to practice safe driving. Do your part and stay safe on the roads. But we just can't keep the cars home or nothing will go on. Just something to think about!

We are doing our part for social distancing. But swine flu infected 1.6 billion people on earth and 61 million in the US and killed 13,000 in the US and 250k-500k in the world. Why did no one know about this? Life went on. We are no where near these numbers right now. I just find this Ironic and strange. Let alone the 55k people who died this flu season in the US. I believe 99% of us will be fine. But again Im doing my part and also staying away from my parents.

Yes I totally agree! I was referring to the world in general. But I believe there has been lot more cases that have already existing condition and have already passed by. My Doctor friend couple homes down said the same thing. The cases we have listed in the US the reality is probably 2-5 times that amount but the motility rate will be documented. So with higher cases and the existing mortality rates the death rates so far will be under 1%. Time will tell. But if Im a betting person I would bet this will not be any bigger then Swine flu. Plus we just put a halt on the US economy for freaking out at the same time there was 55k people who died in the US for the regular flu for this flu season. I just find this strange and Ironic!

Im staying optimistic right now. So far in AZ 99.99% do not have it. And about 4% who do get it ends in death with the current stats. Italy by sheer culture has the highest rate of elderly (which most deaths are over 50 years old with previous problems) Also by sheer culture they greet each other with face touch or kisses on the cheek. This didn't help them at all. Time will really tell if CDC is correct with cases and death for this next week. Still do your part in mitigating this. Was at Target this morning and we wiped down all our purchases today with disinfectant. Swine flu I read in the reports was 1.2 billion people were infected and estimated 150k- 575k world wide. 13k were in the US

Man social media is hyped up on "do your part" (which I agree) but these people think employers should be paying everyone for the next 4 weeks to keep everyone home! Yeah pay 20 people for 4 weeks with no production! Thats called bankruptcy! Im not so concerned about the virus, im more concerned if we go the next 6 weeks at home with no money coming in will be the problem. All of us gun guys will need to defend our toilet paper and food from the mad max people because of desperation. Just my 2 cents but we can still keep the economy going with being aware and mitigating close contact with people. Im still buying lunch at local restaurants to help them out and eat good before beans and rice days are the norm

Im sure glad I bought bulks of 22s back in the last ammo crisis! If things get bad I got plenty of ammo for doves in my front yard, ducks at community lakes and people pets if I have to go that route!! Ill make sure I take the liberals pets because they have nothing to shoot back at me with.

If you got stocks or mutual funds the value went down. Thats it! You didn't lose anything. You will if you sell it right now. Just keep your money there you will be fine. Everyone who kept their money in the stock market during the recession the value came back and plus some.
