Message Lance. In other threads and PMs he has stated hundreds of hours "hundreds" of hours behind the Swaro and Euros, from Cabelas. He has compared the 2 like no other and found the Swaro is ever so slightly better around the outer rim of the lens and thats it. Either take the 2500 Swaros or the Cabelas Euros for 1500 and it takes you hours to find out that the Swaros is barely "barley" better. For me and the price it was a no brainer

I hunt down south, so I never touch 10s. And I spend all day with the tri pod with the 15s . The few times I needed less magnification I just grabbed my 8 power range finder. But this next season I might get some 8s for when I'm in between glassing with the tri pod

My first choice will be 32, but i probably wont get it. Second choice is 30 and my odds are really good with points system. I've been researching unit 30 for sometime, matter of fact for a couple of years with what ever information i can gather. If you hunted 30 before can you PM me and ill tell you where im planning on heading to and see if thats a dead end or i can make it happen? Thanks. If you were wondering why 32 and 30 I wanted to be near a city to stay in a motel.

I'm not the type person that will go out and do some of that being alone that is. But I do know for a fact I would of made it through the first night. One thing that always baffles me maybe is just me, but I take comfort psychologically by making myself weapons for example a long spear. I would feel little more at ease with black bears and mountain linens around. Then obviously make sure you locate water and make an awesome shelter. Last year that one guy built walls then a round T P roof tarp. He had all sorts of room and that is a psychological benefit. For me if I'm alone I want to feel comfortable and I want to feel safe ( spears) If you watch the episode before Alone started that solder said that if he gets in a fight with a bear " they better check up on the bear I'm just saying ". He saw bear scat 10 mins in and it was all over!

Except that it takes 4 frikkin points to draw now. Used to be 1 point. Not even that good of a unit.

Welcome to CWT.com! What most people like to see if someone here takes this seriously. Not make a profile, and make their very first post is where can I go in a unit. First day I signed up I notice a lot of people put a lot of work into their scouts and hunt. So people need to understand some of us are sensitive to that. But once you join up and commenting and showing interest with the fourm people will start helping out more. I probably posted 80 post and comments before I asked for help in a specific unit. And all I asked is how to hunt burned areas in a specific unit. Lots of people help out. We love hunters but hunters with common courtesy for the hard work others put in. I'm glad you joined up and let's see a cool avatar and we will be hearing from you soon

I'm in the process of building a load for my 300 WinMag. I have Berger 210s but I've heard enough stories and have a buddy who himself had 2 occasions that his berger 210s did not expand. I know people swear by them but I've been scared off. Hornady has these new non melt tips that are more superior. The 208 EDL match is supposed to be replacing the Amax. I've heard only good things from people on other sites and this site talk about the Amax. But I guess the Amax wasn't a hunting round but is still performs very well. Supposedly they have the 200 and 212 ELD x for hunting but I dint know this nor was there any around. If the Amax was good should I just go ahead and load these for hunting?

Doing lots of research on the Match graded bullets and everybody says the same thing firstcousewas80! They kill but the dogs always run off and then pile. But I havent heard of one bad thing of the 60 grain VMax. So im going a little lighter than i wanted to and i went ahead and bought 2 boxes of 60 grain VMax. Hopefully ill will show the results in a couple of weeks.

It's time to re load some nice yote rounds. I only used my AR colt 6940 for shooting and plinking. But now I want to use it as a varmint gun. My question is that I want to use a heavier round 69-77 grain bullet. Do I need to be concern with the pressure for an AR because I need to keep the coal mag length with a heavier bullet? I know bolts will stick, but I am bit scared to damage my gun if to hot and not realizing it until it's to late

Do you guys like the smk and Hornady hpbt match for coyotes?

I didn't see 69 smk today. I'll look somewhere else tomorrow. Any ideas ?

Lance will chime in soon. He has spent many hours behind these. He rated the euros right below the swarc! I took his advice and for glass that matched the swarc expect the outer rim is ever so slightly dimmer then the swarc. So I went and bought the 15s euros and they are fantastic and half the cost of the 15 swarc.
