I would really look into the 140 grain accurbond. For the lands I don't single round shoot. I like to know I have a second shot. So I adjust it to barley fit in the magazine. But I believe I was only .040 off the lands. Last week up in flagstaff it seemed like I got some good pressure for only .040 off the lands. I' only got half way through my ladder test and I'm already hitting 2900 fps for a 300 win mag 208 EDL match.

Good luck with the elk hunt. I've been wanting to do deer there as well for archery, but from what I hear every archer from flagstaff is there and a bunch of other out of towners. Doesn't mean I won't try it, but wish those mountains were 3 times bigger in land mass

There are a couple I've found on line they take you by boat and they drop you off shore after you spotted the bear you wanted to chase, and they feed you. You have to do everything else. I've seen it for around 2500. Also check YouTube about Alaska diy black bear hunts. This guys explains how he does it every year for around 1500-2000 diy off the coast

All year I planning on it. My brother who was going with me is being transferred to Denver and right now his house and moving his family will be around that time. What a let down. Next year it will happen!! I've done New Mexico I need to to hunt Wyoming in a bad way
