Lesson I learned on my first archery elk hunt. Go heavy and sharp. Used my normal arrows I use for deer and didn't get a full pass through at 20 yards. Took follow up shots to finish. I was disgusted with myself.this year I'm shooting shovels out of my bow. Well, the heaviest arrow I can tune

Are you reducing your fees next year due to lack of photographic evidence of anything worth killing through your services? -

Wait a few years after everyone shoots all the spikes and forks just to tag out in those units. The rut is deadly for the smaller bucks when hunters lower their standards due to limiting hunt units. They might as well issue doe tags in limited quantity in some units. Its proven that doe hunts increase breeeding to compensate. Same as when antelope dont drop as many fawns on some years and more on others based on predation and water. -

I have seen thing go from welcome to get off my land in the last few decades. 19b antelope hunts are a prime example. I cast blame in a few directions. Guides paying off for sole access. And the invasion of idiots trying to be sportsman. Shoot we never had as many human caused wildfires until 25 years ago when the invasion of our state began. Dont mean to get off subject. But trail cameras and tags numbers are not what is wrong with thea state of hunting in our state. -
4falls told me a cool story about sitting a blind and a coyote cruising though. The buck started chasing the dog and the dog led the buck right into shooting range. He said it was almost like the coyote knew he would get some food if he lured the buck into the kill zone.

No sweat. Whats game and fish going to do? They cannot even give appropriate punishment to poachers. The big guides are gonna keep running cameras imo. Until game wardens start taking hammers to cameras.. oh wait they cater to guides. And yes the cattlemen did alot for hunters by putting in water. That was years ago when communities were close nit and everyone knew everyone. Ranchers welcomed good local folk to hunt their leases.. sometimes even the micro patch of land they even owned. Not any more. Cattlemen have done more to restrict hunting in the last 30 years than any tree huggers. -
Saw my first fawn of the year drop today out outer loop rd. Wish game and fish was doing helicopter kills on coyotes here instead of seligman.

Yeah prescott lakes had a nice herd across from watson lake. Till one of the first homeowners didnt like them and shot half the herd. 19b had a boatload of tags back in the day when the ranchers were more friendly.

Its not the coyotes as much as the Californians pushing the antelope out. Growing up watching the greatest antelope herd in the country get pushed and relocated so people can move here and judge my lifestyle is sad.

Went hiking into a canyon in the unit I drew my tag in. Found a few sheds. No browns. All but one of them I found stuffed into bushes while walking ledge trails.

Tracers and incindiary rounds are designed for machine guns. Same reason I dont shoot old commie 7.62x25 rounds. They were made hot for machine guns not normal firearms. Operators fault. Common sense could have avoided this.

12aw is getting thin according to tag numbers. Is the fence accross utah starting to have affect?

I second palmetto. If you can put it in your cart it is in inventory. Unlike others. They had stripped lowers last week for 99 bucks and free shipping.

Alot of wells that are more than 20 years old are having to get drilled deeper lately. So if you buy in my area talk to the neighbors about their wells.

Meyer Dewey has horrible water full of asenic. Most the meth heads in the area seem to have switched to drugs that kill them quicker and make them sleep more. Chino is nice but getting full. Water is going to be the key. Anywhere north of the verde river is going to be a haul your own water deal.

That norinco is usually steel core.

Sterilization should be free if wanted. But no, foodstamps and free cell phones matter more.

Explorer replied to AZ Yugo's topic in Classified Ads
Hit sportmans warehouse a few times a week. The one in prescott had lots of ammo this week. 25 bucks for 308. $18.99 for 9mm. I wont buy from the crooks aka small dealers. Thank god for corporate set prices. -
Savage axis youth model 7/08. Non acu trigger model. Stock painted green. In the prescott area. $200 or trade for 10/22. Only a couple boxes through it. Have a small amount of ammo and brass to go with it.
