By Oracle....the sketchtiest encounter I have had with illegals was in 36b my dad my 12 year old brother and I were glassing, I see two yotes at 100 yards walking, I rushed it and bricked the shot...I turned around to see my dad and brother 60 yards away with their eyes glued the other way, I swung my binos around to see what they were looking at to see 27 drug smugglers dressed in all black with big assburlap sacks on their backs, I moved slowly towards my dad and bro staying low so they could not see us.when I got to them I asked what did they do when they heard me shot, They said that they didn't even flinch. Luckily they continued to move in a direction away from us because we realized between the 3 of us we only had 25 bullets.

My my lion tag doesn't say any MATURE my lion, its like saying it is illegal to kill a spike, totally legal just frowned upon.

All I want to do is call in a cat...

So I have been debating what units I will put in for for elk. I am not as familiar with unit 22 and was considering a late archery hunt in 22. What do you guys think? I am worried about it because some people say it has been extremely over hunted. Any info will help, thanks!

I'm not looking for a trophy rut hunt, just a hunt I can get out there and chase some bulls.I am willing to do my home work and work my butt of during the hunt, not looking for a 400 inch bull .let me reprhase my question. How is unit 22 compared to any other unit that offers a late archery hunt? Is the elk quality bad? Is it way over hunted?

Wow this is crazy....It pisses me off that some people go out there and steal deer from me. I go out there and bust my a$$ trying to kill a deer 100% legally every year and alot of times it doesn't pan out but thats OK at least I don't cheat...pricks.I also know a guy that uses his rifle during bow sesson, but to me the little spike I killed is ahell a lot bigger than any deer he cheats to kill

Does all around, I saw the spike beded up at 52 yards and could only see his head and neck, I put my 50 pin on top of his neck and let it fly I hit right where I intended... He stood up and fell right back down. I cut out his guts threw him over my shoulders for the mile and a half back to the truck!

The story...Me and my little bro whent up to a good little spot at 3am Monday we got there around 5 so we hiked up to a spot to glass from and weghted tell light. I glassed up a herd with two bucks a 2x2 and 3x3 me and my brother mad a stalk and a doe got down wind of us and blew it. We moved on to a new spot and I immediately glassed up a doe with a spike, we continued to Glass until nearly dark when I decided to make a stalk. I stalked into the heart of the herd and Had dies all around
