Here are some pics of a trip I guided a couple of days ago. Some awesome dry fly fishing is around the corner!

Man isn't it still pretty cold up there? If those water temps aren't over 48 or so the fishing will be tough. Fish will be pretty dormant. Be sure to be out there during the warmest part of the day.

Get an 8 at rod with a sink tip line. Bonefish will RIP line out of your reel so be sure you buy one with a good drag system and a large arbor. PM me if you need some more help or advice.

The San Juan has been fishing good. Simon canyon flooded last fall and that section of the lower river has a lot of silt in it. Hoping for a big spring release!

WOW! Nevfer fished the Rio Grande. Is the pike fishing pretty good there? That's an Awesome fish!!!!!!!!!! You have to work for them. However there are some big ones in there. This one was caught 3 days ago. Rio Grande is also great for trout and smallies as well.

Beware of Sonoran Outfitters!

I was on the airplane with some of his clients a week ago. They all told me that he met them at the airport and then they never saw him again. They said that the food and accommodations were great. However the vehicles that they were in kept breaking down. They also told me that the guides had not been paid for this season and the previous season and were only making $35! (TIGHT butt) Also when they killed their bucks that the ranch owner took the buck and said that they would be under his possession until Todd paid the rancher for using the ranch! Wow and OUCH! I run an outfitting business and I don't think I would have many returning clients if I ran my business like this! -
Oops! Didn't mean to encroach on the name! I live just north of Santa Fe, NM

There are two types of eye caps. These do have them and they screw onto the binocular. I can send a close up if need be.
