I like my Browning the best but I am buying two Primos Truth cams, the 01's to try out. They are about $100 and simple to use.

You can catch him just like the "Tank Skank" got caught. It was in the campfire section.

That will be some tasty eating. Good job!

I would send you mine but it is so old and moth eaten. Check the thrift stores and you might find one.

NRA vs liberals
Red Sparky replied to joe hunter's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I am a life member of the NRA and they keep asking for more money. When they make Zimmerman their poster boy, which is an embarrassment, they aren't getting another cent from me. They jumped into that pile of crap blindly and then had to deal with the stink. It keeps coming back every time he is in the news again with gun issues. So I agree I am now supporting other gun causes more than the NRA but I won't say not to support the NRA. -
If any of you get an e-mail from NMG&F please answer it. We, hunters, are in a fight with the State Land Office (SLO). The NM game commission pays an access fee to the SLO to allow hunters, trappers, and anglers to access SLO land when hunting. The problem in my opinion is we pay for all SLO land even if we can't get access to it because it is landlocked by private land. We are also able to use this land for only about 1/3 of the year as you can only scout it 10 days before the hunt and can't camp on it or drive off any roads if any exist. Most of this land is checker boarded surrounded by private land and if there is not a legal easement, public road, you can't get to it. Usually the game commission pays about $200,000/ year for hunter access, uses G&F officers to enforce the laws on SLO land, and does about $750,000 worth of improvements for wildlife. The SLO does not have any law enforcement officers to patrol state land and wants to increase the access amount to $1,000,000 per year as a minimum. The other lessee's of this land are ranchers and oil & gas companies that use the land year round. The increase will be passed on to hunters, trappers, and anglers through a license increase. I have not hunted on SLO land in over 20 years but I pay for access every year. About $2 of our license fees go to pay for access so it will go up to $10 minimum, which will be passed on to us. Now $10 is not much but it is the principle of the thing to stand up to this bully. This may only effect a few of you NR hunters but our commission needs the ammo to tell this idiot that was elected into the SLO to stick it. I personally said I will give up all hunting on SLO land and not to pay any more easements and stop all hunting on SLO land. We have enough FS and BLM land where it will not be greatly missed if we can't hunt SLO land in my opinion.

So let me see if I understand this correctly. I will keep it in at 100 to keep percentages easier. 100 tags and 20 go in the BP, 5 of those would be NR with max points and 15 would be resident. Then the other 5 NR would be drawn in the general draw. So a few NR might get some tags without max points but keep the NR to 10%. So point creep for NR would possibly increase every year but point creep for residents would go down as you are drawing 5 more in the BP. If you had 20 NR hunters with max points first year then second year you would have 15, third year you would have 10, fourth year you would have 5, fifth year all would be drawn and 6 year you would go to a new group with max points. Resident hunter max points would go down as you have more residents with max points being draw each year. If you had 20 residents with max points you would draw 15 the first year, the second year you would draw the five highs and 10 in the next group, etc.. I completely support it as residents should have a better opportunity to hunt the animals in their state.

Check out these pictures of pink haired women vandalizing my trail camera

You are lucky that second camera was well hidden as it looks like they got close to it. Find her and let the bashing begin! -
As far as Remington recalls I have a model 721 and 722 built in the 40's or 50's, before the 700 action. They were my grandfather's guns that got handed down to me by way of my dad. They did the safety recall on them 60 years after the rifles were built. Never had a problem with them but now you can unload them with the safety engaged.

When my daughter lost hers we were able to get online and do a "Find my iPhone" and it located the last place it had battery service. We found it under her bed when it said it was in the house. Can you do something like that?

So since I never saw this or posted I will throw my .02 cents in. Love the visits I have had to Az., growing up we had friends in Williams. I remember an 18 hour trip from Williams to Albuquerque in a Ford Falcon Sprint when we kids prayed for snow. That would have been early 70's. NM does have the edge on the draw as we get it right the first time and it is resident friendly. In the last 10 years I have had 8 elk tags and never not drawn for deer.

Ooops it was a mistake. Not a tornado but Hillary and Trump having a debate! Seriously they had a tornado in Cimarron NM so it can happen in the mountains. I was lucky enough to be in a twister visiting my grandparents in KS and they are not fun.

Ok here is my suggestion...Top is getting old and sagging? Victoria's Secret push up.

Garmin Rino 120 for me and my kids. We usually don't use the radios but every hour we will listen for five minutes to see if we got one down. Easy to poll locations if good satellite signal. The other thing is my sister-in-law bought two Motorola radios that you can program to the same frequency so the wife can have one in camp. The main problem limiting distance is terrain.

You thank me for leaving your kayak alone and then you pepper spray me in the face. I will teach you!

Oh the comments that could be made

Well my relatives are from Arkansas so I was probably hitting the homemade hooch too much for my fingers to keep up. So I might be Roy Clark to his Buck Trent but I will never be Ned Beatty.

If there are cows or other livestock in the area when it is put out it is not "baiting" from what I read. So just make sure there are cows or livestock in the area and you are perfectly legal.

Two examples to understand why some won't give unit numbers. Back in the 80's before we had a draw for deer and it was over the counter tags. My dad uncle, and I all tagged out on deer. My uncles picture was in the paper as well a a brief story with the general location, it was a nice healthy deer for NM. The next year we were overrun with hunters because of it. The next example is elk hunting I had a unit I would draw every other year. There were about 500 resident hunters putting in for 150 tags. Then a hunting show aired showing, with a "general description" of west-central NM, of a nice bull getting killed. The next year there were 1500 resident hunters putting in for the same 150 tags so draw odds went way down. The bad thing is I know the unit where the hunt took place and it is not the unit I put in for. So I won't put it out on a public forum that anybody can access but I don't mind keeping it private if I can help somebody out.

I thought he was just speaking New Mexican as I knew what a maroon was. We still use "over yonder" and stuff like that to.

I agree. Not only your firearms and accessories but all you have in your house. We have riders for extra insurance on the wife's jewelry and our computers. When we installed our home alarm we get a discount from our insurance company. Know what your insurance covers and make sure you are covered. Pictures and serial numbers are important to have as well.
