How's everyone doing? No tag here, but I was out scouting for a friends muzzy bull hunt in a few weeks. Heard lots of shots but I didn't see any bucks in camp. I saw a really nice 4x4 but only briefly as he darted in between the juniper thickets.

Great buck and awesome pic of your little boy holding the horns!

They were pretty vocal this weekend until people started rolling in. Most of the bulls I saw weren't with cows though. -
Great looking bull man, congrats

I had the 3rd hunt a few years ago and a buddy and I shot two cows right by potatoe house. Another friend with a tag came a few days later and the only ones we saw were WAY up there. Good luck man, get far away from roads

That's awesome they occasionally come that low. Be a sight to see

A few guys on here keep mentioning elk around picacho peak, and someone posted a pic. I believe it but it just seems nuts! Was that just some terribly lost bull that came from the Pinals or something??

No man no tag for me! And yeah man there was actually about 5 does with those elk. They were the most playful deer I have ever seen! I watched them for a few, only to see a nice 4x4 come and join them! I grabbed my bow but it got to dark on me. Then on the way out saw another 3-4 does with a tall 3x3

I was in 6b last night man. Saw a small 5x5 pushing like 30 cows, and a really nice, wide 6x6 or better screaming his head off and raking the heck out of trees! Had about 10 cows with him. Pretty awesome to see!

I shot a spike there last year on opening morning the second rifle hunt. Only had 3 days to hunt but I'm glad I took him cause it took 2 days to get him out of those deep, steep, scrub oak filled canyons!

Hey guys, my buddy drew this tag this year and couldn't be more excited about it. Maps have been bought, rifle is being tuned in, and scouting is underway. He was wondering if anyone on here who has had or been on this hunt could offer up any info on if the bulls were still running with the cows at all or if they were already off by themselves. I know it's after the rut but do you think there still might be a few bulls bugleing? Any info is appreciated, and good luck to anyone chasing deer with a bow!

That's kinda what I figured but regardless we are both still pumped for it! Gonna be spending a lot of time through our Kaibab's!

Congrats! How many points did that take?

While running a saw today in Yellowstone this monster walked 25 yards from me!

Sorry if they're sideways, I'm on my phone and don't see how to correct it...anyways, enjoy!

That's insane! Awesome spot you found! 6 is my record for one day

These aren't from AZ but thought I'd share some pics from Mammoth Springs in Yellowstone. They were maybe 50 yards away and had just gotten a drink from the river. Enjoy!

Hey Guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm another one who has been creeping on this site for a while now. I've been on a few other sites before but got tired of people not using them or having them shut down for whatever reason. Anyways I'm a desert rat at heart and grew up in a little town in SW AZ. I've been thankful to have taken a few nice mulies and two elk (1 cow and 1 spike.) I'm up in Flag now but soon will be up in Yellowstone for a few months for my park ranger gig. Hoping to do a DIY antelope hunt too if anyone has any info they'd like to share. I know a few guys on here and hope to get to know a few more eventually! Anyways this is what I've found so far this year, the dead head, muley, and coues antlers are a few of mine from 2014. Happy Hunting!
