Nice bull, congratulations!

Pretty good video for a phone!
-
Thanks, good luck to you as well

Headlamp coffee, donut, or burrito. I like a walking stick in the darkness due to my spider experiences down south. Big spiders make their webs between the mesquites which equals a major freak out on my part when in my face. I use the stck out in front at face height to knock down the webs.

Leaving in the morning to scout the next three days before the hunt. This storm may alter my plans a little and force my to sleep in my truck tomorrow night. I haven't heard of any 5A Bulls being killed but I'm sure several have been tagged. Good luck.

I think that Mormon lake herd got busted up pretty quickly. My son said opening weekend the lake bed was surrounded.
-
Btw my son and his friends would do it for free

My son goes to NAU and is in the national guard up there. He loves hunting and has friends that can help also. Pm me and I'll give you his number.
-
I'll be there also but not for me, my wife. I'm leaving Tuesday.

This year there is a 5A early Hopi bull hunt with no permit numbers listed concurrent with the 5A early bull. Are the 5A Hopi permits good for the entire unit?
-
I get that but is the entire unit open to them or is there a designated Hopi area?

Dropshot some robo worms with any spin cast/bait cast combo.

I bought the camp chef stove at cabelas last year for around $250 and a water heater off Amazon for $75. Both work great.

Load range E and Max psi is 80 I would run close to that. I run about max psi in my rear when towing with my F250 and a little lower in the front. That's what they are designed for. Don't risk being too low and letting that tire roll over to the rim.

You can borrow my gear if you're not back on your feet. I'm hunting or helping 9/25-10/1, 11/6-9, and 11/22-29. I have a J34, cabelas pack frame, 10-42 slc's, off brand spotting scope and tripod, 800 yard rangefinder, all kinds of knives. I'm in phx.

Maybe 150 yards on a slick tricked javelina.

Thanks to all who responded!

Thanks Lance that was initially my first choice and I've shot coues deer with it but due to its hollow point design I was skeptical for close range elk. Is it more of a solid deep penetrating bullet even though it's a hollow point?

Thanks

Also, both shoot well out of my Remington 700

Now that the other one is sold I'll post mine. Good condition, comes with about 20 lbs of 7 1/2 lead shot, and around half a can or more of Blue Dot. Yes the blue dot is older but works fine. I reload 38 with it. I'll take .270 Win factory loads, MRE'S (preferred), .277 140 grain Accubonds, .277 Nosler partitions, large rifle magnum primers, 3031, 4350, .243 100 grain Nosler partitions, any combination. I'll be at Ben Avery rifle range tomorrow around 1000, otherwise I live in Laveen. 602 512-5345

First gun I ever owned and still have is a Wingmaster 12 gauge modified choke. My dad who didn't hunt bought if for me when I was 12 in 1978 to hunt doves with some neighbors. Great gun, many memories although I'm still a terrible wing shooter.
