Sweet man! I just bought some new Crispi boots and I was researching insoles and a lot of avid hunters were recommending Lanthrop and Sons so I bought the 50 dollar insoles and after miles on my feet hanging cameras I can honestly say I have zero complaints about Crispi or Lanthrop and Sons insoles. Every one who wears Darn Tough Socks says the same thing you do..I'm ordering some Friday and plan on really using them come Sept. 15th Oh yeah if anyone is interested in Crispi Ross Outdoors in Phoenix just started carrying them yesterday. So now you can actually go try on a pair of 300 boots and see if you like them.

I've been looking into socks... I've been using the Under Armour Hitch Lite sock for a few years now and I love them. I hunt mostly early season so I dont need a sock to keep my feets warm just something comfy for long hikes.. I really cant complain about the Under Armour hitch lite other than it doesnt retain odor very well. After doing some research I came across this company called " Darn Tough Socks" they make socks specifically for hikers, mountain bikers, and hunters. Everything I read on them is something like this " Darn Tough Socks are the best socks you will own and you will end up owning at least a few pairs after you try on the first pair".... Whats the best way to repair pebble tech? A chunk of pebble tech broke off one of my steps in my pool about 8 inches long .. Clean break too as I can see the exposed concrete. Is it easy to do yourself or should I call a professional? I do all my own mechanical pool repair mostly changing out the ceramic seals in the pumps, but I also have replaced pop up modules ,pool light fixtures, the bulk heads on my sand filter ( those are the worst.) , etc ....I've come to find out that most peoples pool problems and green water issues are due to faulty equipment like pumps or air leaks which makes your cleaning system work crappy..

I finally got to use my Kuiu Attack pants that I got for fathers day.. I'm seriously impressed. These pants are awesome! My only complaint is Kuiu's stuff runs pretty " true to fit" if you wear a 34 waist expect the 34 waist to fit perfect to snug no belt needed. Awesome pants though and I will probably get another pair.

I just got back from scouting. I have a unit 9 archery tag this year ( finally!!!) Lots of cows and calves every where right now.. My buddys dad drew a late rifle 9 tag last year and they were unsuccessful due to weather. Thats a tough hunt that time of year just because you might get hit with heavy snow. So be prepared for that it may or may not happen. I like hunting closer to Tusyan area, its a huge unit but I like that area. The guides love to hunt and scout the west side of unit 9 (at least during the archery hunts). I dont hunt late season so I'm not sure what their behavior will be like that time of year. There isnt much to glass in the Tusyan area because its all pines .. I love that unit , its too cold for me in December though lol.

+1 to this... As the kids today say take the " L " and just move on. Sucks but things could have been much worse.

I haven't been pulled over in 30 years. My daughter just did the course online and told me there were hidden costs that nearly tripled the advertised price. Still better than surrendering your Saturday to sit in a class all day only to have some buffoon raise his hand every 15 minutes to ask a question or tell a story..

I'm really liking these Crispi boots? Anyone have any reviews on anything Crispi? Seems like they have a really good reputation.. I mostly early season hunt so I dont need something insulated. I also like a light boot .. I have been looking at the Crispi Thor GTX .. They look nice and seem like they would work well. I'm going to retire my 130.00 Cabelas brand boot.

Same here love the major brown and wish they had more options... I just got the attack pants in major brown.. I wear a waist 34 and Kuiu are pretty true to fit. If you wear a 34 waist they are going to fit like a 34 waist.Weren't Sitka and Kuiu pretty much founded by the same guy he just lost control of the Sitka company and started Kuiu. One of the reasons you dont see Kuiu for sale in stores is because they dont want to get too big. Problem is that Im right there above 34!! If there was a 34.5 or 35 it would be great. But dickeys are like 33.5, some care hearts are 34 and fits perfect and my last pair I bought I swear they are like a 33.5 feel to me. Phil how heavy are you and height? I'm like 5' 9'' and 165... They are a snug 34 if you wear a 34.5 they will be tight in the waist. I have some 34 waist cabelas instinct pants and they fit loose in the waist compared to Kuiu.
