Congrats, nice buck! I hunted hard all 14 days of the archery hunt but didn’t get a shot. Got to 100yds on several occasions and spent 7+ hrs one day crawling and jumping from juniper to juniper but they just kept working away from me. Overall I had a blast, didn't go up there expecting to get one with a bow. I’ve drawn the archery tag now 4 times in my lifetime and tagged out 20+ yrs ago the last time I drew. To this day thats my toughest hunt, bowhunting goats spot and stalk in this state. Monsoon always dumps enough rain that they get their water anywhere and don’t have to hit water holes. I’m 62 now so I wonder if I’ll ever draw this tag again before I’m too old to crawl across the prairie pushing my bow in front of me…. Congrats again!

Also up here in 6a with an archery goat tag. Glassed up a herd but too far away to make a play. Lots of people running around here

Came across a mule deer doe this afternoon, fresh kill probably in the last 24 hrs, water is nearby too. Best guess on how long before lion typically return. It’s in a nasty ravine with lots of cover. Trying to readjust some plans the next few days….I’ve never hunted them before but have always bought a tag every year. Thanks

It was only moved about 10’ from where it was buried. Couldn’t find any discernible tracks but assuming coyotes got to it. Neat learning experience

And this is what was left this morning…

Here’s the kill we found yesterday morn. Pulling a little of the brush back found the paunch was open and a little pulled out but all the meat was still there

Thank you, I’m not the least bit familiar with their habits. Was checking a few places for the javelina hunt next month

In the process of buying a ‘67 Camaro. No, I’m not hobnobbing at barrett jackson this week. Been getting quotes from several insurance companies like haggerty, grundy, etc. Looking for good and bad info from any of you that have a policy for a collector car especially if you ever filed a claim.

Worst day hunting is better than the best day at work. Those of us without a tag are wishing we were there. Good luck

Sweet, I’m sitting here waiting on the funds to transfer to my credit union then the seller is bringing it over. Should have it today or Monday. Mine’s a RS/SS that was built with a 396. In 1969 someone put in the 427ci/425hp 512 casting big block with aluminum heads and fuel injection. It just had a frame off restoration too. My first car as a teenager in 1981 was a 68 so I’m having my midlife crisis now a little later than most….

Good info, those are two of the quotes I did online Grundy was the third. Need to call all and ask about restrictions. Want to occasionally drive it to work or use for quick errands. Thank you

Brother had his hip done on 10/19, he’s 56. Still has a fair amount of knee pain, doc and therapist call it referral pain. Hip feels good and he’s getting around fine, goes to therapy 2x a week. Took awhile to get a good nights sleep but doing pretty decent now
