Da Bear -
This was super simple, and I loved it for dinner tonite. I stuffed the quail cavity with a jalapeno sausage, and salt, pepper and bacon on the outside. Grilled for 8-10 minutes. I threw a elk tenderloin on the grill for good measure. I don't know why, but I always seem to use jalapenos when cooking quail.

I am taking my 5 and 7 year old out tomorrow for their first real hunt. Hoping to scare up a quail or rabbit (emphasis on rabbit). My two locations are: 1. Mesquite Wash on the way Payson 2. King's Ranch Road, at the eastern edge Open to other ideas, but looking for rabbits for them to get the idea of shooting at a actual game they can eat. Rabbits early in the AM seem like a good idea. I'd love to know if 1 or 2 are worth going to this year, or perhaps another spot? I am starting out from the 60 and Mesa Dr. Thanks Guys.

Aren't we supposed to be saying it is Feb 15th?

Here are some pics from the event. We ended up going to behind Gold Canyon

I'll check out the other suggestions another time. I did end up going off of King's Ranch Rd. A couple of quail, and some good hiking in. my son's first shot was with a single shot 20 gauge and he missed the quail and hit (and exploded) a cholla. He thought that was hiliarous- because it was.

$175. Great condition- used on a couple of hunts, and actually pulled out of its case maybe 5-6 times. I'd rather sell here than on ebay. I live in North Gilbert near the downtown area.

sold pending funds and pickup. Ross- I'll let you know if he doesn't come through. Sorry again for being slow to respond. Took the family out to Peralta Trail today for a hike. Incredible weather and sites.

Sorry guys- busy with family holidays, as I am sure you can relate. I have responded to all PM's. common question: I live in North Gilbert, near Cooper and the US 60.

love to see. Trying to get my kids out for their first this week. Should be interesting... -
This camper has pros and cons. Let's start with the cons: - body damage (in pics). the prior owner hit a hole on a backroad and popped out the body panel on the side. As a result, the kitchen inset is not fixed on all side inside - replaced roof - the crank that sends the popup up sometimes gets funky, but never have had a problem with operation on it - gas/lights/etc are of questionable performance. I haven't looked into it - overall functional but very clearly not pristine condition Pros: - price - clean/functional inside - brand new tires - flipped axel for great clearance - sleeps 6 grown men comfortably. like comfortably. did it last year. It has 2 king sized beds with a couple of doubles. This thing is huge, but also light. - plenty of time on tags I am listing it here first for $900. If no takers, I am putting up on Craigslist for more. call/text: 602 568 798eight (sorry about the upside down photos. i can't find out why this happens. They look fine on my computer)

Stockies ok, really, just trying to get them used to the process. Thx!

I am looking to install my own in the backyard, but noticed how expensive the grass is...wow. Anyone know of a good location that has remnants or great prices? Looking for 300-400 SF of putting. I have checked Craigslist without much luck.
