So sorry 4 your loss. I've had chocolate labs my whole life and have had to put a couple down. It's very hard. I have a Male and a female now. Got my Male off craigslist and my female from Barbs house of labs. My daughter bought her and she is awesome and very loyal. Check Barb out. Don't remember what my daughter paid for her though.

I'm a Chevy guy through and through. I have a 5.3 with afm. It's very reliable but it's a dog it doesn't even like hills with my tent trailer but my son has a hemi. Although I'm not a dodge fan that's probably what I would pick in a 1/2 ton. That dodge of his runs great and pulls great for a 1/2 ton.

I agree behind the shoulder with a 30/06. I've shot 2 rifle bulls with my 30/06 both past 300yds and hit them behind the shoulder 1 dropped instantly and the other didn't go very far but my boys both shot bulls 2 years ago in 6a and were high shoulder shots with a 300rum. We all know what the outcome of that was. No tracking job needed! Good luck on your hunt and good questions. 22south is big country so as lance said. A good pack and good optics get your boots on the ground and learn the unit. Hope you shoot a nice one!

23 points for me. No hit. My buddy at work drew 19a general with 8 points and my son drew unit 9 2 years ago with only a hunters safety point. I've been on 5 az goat hunts with other people just not my own. It will happen one of these years!

Way to get er done! I know of a few active caves and it's nice when they are active cause they will usually be close by. I ended up going back to a peep with the tubing. I just check it frequently and carry tubing in my pack. Same thing happen to me except it was on a bull elk.

So all this amounts to is this is not a true 150inch coues buck but a unique deer and a trophy as far as I'm concerned all the drama of how it was killed is dumb! So Duwane Adam's is the outfitter with the client that harvested it but if the story is true then maybe he should have had common courtesy and backed out but what I'm wondering about is you said the original person who was on the deer said it was on the hill. How did it end up in the flats? Just saying. I agree with trophyhuntr sounds like people are but hurt cause they didn't kill it. But if Adam's just walked in with disregard for the other hunter that's wrong too!

Looks hybrid to me! Does have both mule deer and whitetail traits but the tail is for sure a whitetail wow!

Grew up hunting unit 21 and know it very well. I have been hunting 20c so far this January with my archery pig tag and have seen a lot of mule deer bucks. Unit 21 has both mule deer and whitetail but you will find that you are going to see a lot of whitetails in unit 21 now cause the whitetail population is thriving in unit 21. There are many spots in unit 21 where I have killed several mule deer bucks and if I go glass them now I see lots of whitetails. Just my opinion. Good luck!
