I will pass on the complainants to him thank you. The inlay knife is a 5 inch blade. The other wood handle and Kaibab deer handle are 3 inches and the little one is 2 inches

+ 1 with j bone the late hunt should be amazing this year!!! And those elevations sound about right for that hunt

Ok this is an old post I know however I am excited about my goat tag and when I read this it reminded me of the suplaments they sale to make hair and nails grow longer somehow I need to figure out how to get a buck to start taking those suplaments now so he is a monster come September

Congrats on the tag!!! Any rut hunt for elk is a hunt of a lifetime!!! Play with some mouth cow calls and learn how to use them. Wouldn't hert to try learning how to bugle with a mouth call ether. Recording yourself calling and playing it back helps a bunch on being able to tell if you are making the correct sounds. Good luck on your hunt and thank you for your service!!!

Thanks that's what I figured so the goal is find a few shooter bucks then locate the closest does in the areas of these bucks. I am very excited to get this opportunity to hunt antelope in az!!! I know the unit I drew isn't the most coveted unit however i still get the chance to hunt them much sooner than I expected. Good luck to all the very lucky antelope hunters that drew this year and cherish this experience!!!

Thanks I had 12 points so not a lot considering how long it normally takes, however I was in the bp round for elk for the unit I put in for and didn't get that tag. The draw is a crazy system. I was expecting elk but got pleasantly surprised by drawing a tag I didn't expect to draw for another 10 years

If only the draw was done by the FBI we would know exactly when it was going to happen they have more accidental leaks than a one week old puppy.

I haven't seen a bear ever on the bob and I run cameras all year round up there as well as most of my days off. I have never seen bear scat on the bob ether.

I bet he is located within road hunting distance for trophy Hunter where ever he is. That buck is awesome!!!

Yep living an hour and 20 min away I know you can find great deer off the road but I don't consider it hunting when you just drive roads I was saying that comment because I know how many people up there just drive around and never leaving there truck unless it is when they get back to camp

My best advice is drive the roads so I can shoot them in the canyons that you push them into!!! thanks for the help if you are kind enough to take my advice.

Well no elk tag for me this year but my wife drew a late muzzy cow tag in 3b. I live as far north as you can get in az so I play on the Kaibab a lot. Hope to draw a tag for rifle or archery this year!!! I will be posting game cam pics as well as still shot photos for the 2016 session on this thread starting next month.
