I actually already have got the name and numbers to both wardens In the unit incase I need them....getting them to return my calls seems to be a whole other issue so not sure how much heck they will be in the event I need them. I also do have updated maps because I wil be that guy that won't pay attention to signs and lock gates and follow my maps as to where I should and should not be. Good info red sparky! Thanks

I read through the regs page by page trying to find the rules on using Budweiser as a decoy or bait to keep hunters away from me while hunting but I came up empty.... On a not so sarcastic note...what are the rules on salt/mineral blocks/baits or any of the sort in NM? Unless I missed it I could not find anything on that.

I found a smokin deal on a like new 2015 model yesterday. Thinking about pulling the trigger on the 178 model. I've been looking at a smaller travel trailer that I can get into the backwoods with and my searching keeps taking me back to this model. Any experiences or input on this model or other trailers I should be lookin at would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the input. I have a f250 with the 5.4.i pulled a 23ft travel trailer last year and I'm embarrassed to say how it performed. It was pretty bad but I did get it there veeeeery slowly...I would of thought the hemi wouldn't have a problem pullin one of these.

Very good point. I guess it will have to be two trips or my wheels will be my boots when I take this out which I am 100% ok with. I feel like that's always going to be a tough decision when going out..tent..no tent? Trailer...no trailer? Do I bring side x side or not? Do I need to take my boat?? Tough desicions in my life...lol

Anyone that is using the Alaskan guide bino harness have any input on how it works when having your pack on at the same time with two shoulder straps. I would like to order one but not sure how the feeling will be to have to shoulder straps on at once. I just use the Swarovski straps now and they are small enough straps to not notice the difference. Thanks

Well I tried to keep it but finally decided it's just to small for me. I purchased back in May/2015 from gold nugget surplus and paid 189.99 plus shipping. Honestly love this tent. Bought it because it does not allow light to go through so at night when your messing with your gear you are completely stealth. It breaths well, super durable. Had it in a hail storm once and didn't phase it. Problem is it's just to small for me. I'm 6'3 225lbs and i need little more room. I have a new tent now with more room but I really do miss the durability and stealthiness of this tent. I'm selling it for 150.00 and its in perfect condition. Two weeks ago I went out for a two day shed hunt trip. In the same unit i hiked in three different areas. One spot gave me shed hunting success. One showed elk in early growth. One showed me elk that were still packing. Yesterday I checked a trail camera in a completely different unit and it was showing coues still packing. So my recent questions..Do you guys have the same experience? Does the stage of antler growth have any direct relations to other factors in that area? or is there no rhyme or reason?

thanks for the info. yes they are two different bucks the biggest one passed first then the second one and then a spike which i didn't post pics of. i just always thought that by may, deer would of dropped already

Someone posted earlier about having to cancel there card because of fraudulent charges. That happen to me Thursday...called game and fish and "mr. Know it all" who answered said it would still be couple weeks. So I canceled my card and have a new one on the way. And of course next day I get a notice that my card declined a 135.00 charge from AZGF. Called them back Friday and asked them what they would do...women I spoke to said they will call you three times in a 72 hour period. If they don't reach you in the three attempts and get new form of payment you don't get the tag! She would not tell me when this 72 hour period is...looks like my phone is never leaving my side until it happens....ugggghhhhh

So I posted this info earlier today which was like 20 pages ago. I spoke to game and fish today and the gentlemen I spoke to said it will still be a couple weeks before they the draw....for what it's worth.

For what's it's worth...my credit card got some fraudulent charges on it today and card company wants to cancel it....called game and fish and asked if I can still change my card and he said yes they won't be doing the draw for a couple weeks still.......
