You, Chief, are the one trying to spin things. I said a lot of bulls these days are said to be 400”. The only proof I have of them being 400” are the people that say they are 400”. I couldn’t tell you whether they are or not and I don’t deserve any proof but if guys would put score sheets with there pictures it would be a cool way to learn what a bull actually scored and be better at field judging them.

I would love to see score sheets so “people like me” could be better educated when field judging elk.

Is there an additional fee if non hunters come along?

Haha ya they are pretty big. Pictures drive me crazy though. Some local guys killed a giant that went 393 and there pictures make the bull barely look 360s. But yes, those gov bulls this year particularly do look pretty impressive.

I’m still not convinced a lot of today’s 400s are actually 400s. As @BOHNTR has mentioned a lot of those giant gov tag bulls will never be officially measured. Not that it matters as I can appreciate what goes into those hunts but dudes these days act like 350 bulls are common occurrence and I just don’t buy it.

That’s why I wear my hat backwards. No way a lion can bite through a flat brim.

I’ve put 10 rounds through it after sizing with lance’s collet die. Extraction is way better but again i think this rifle has another issue. Might be worth looking into if you guys are having any chambering/extracting issues.

Anybody have a Larry Willis die for belted mags? If possible I’d really like to borrow one. I’ll pay shipping both ways. Thanks Cliff

I only use credit unions. I’ve heard of this so I call before hand and they will leave a note on my account that says there could be multiple charges from AZGFD. Personally have not had any issues.

I’d be all over it then. Few guys out there have been punishing the Hornady brass and seems to be holding up well. Hot rod your RUM and put the high BC pills on cruise control in the PRC for playing and enjoy it.

If buying a factory rifle and shooting factory ammo I think the PRC would be a good option.

What are you goals? What do you want from this rifle?
