26 year old at work fell off an excavator and blew his elbow up on a fire and had multiple surgeries on it. Got infected and had a couple skin grafts. He is 10000% able besides the fact he can’t shoot a bow because his arm won’t ever be straight and won’t ever hold the weight of drawing a bow. I don’t know much about the champ deal. Would he qualify for that?

I use a Slik 834. I have a gen 2 outdoorsman’s quick release adapter. When I get to glassing knob I attach pan head or fluid head and when I shoot I use a RRS anvil 30. The quick release adapter has a lever lock so it’s easy to switch and I keep the heads in my pack so I don’t get them dusty from the Honda dust. I have an aluminum outdoorsman’s tall tripod and they are nice but it’s less stable than my 834, it gets cold, and it’s noisy if you accidentally bang a leg on anything.

Killed a little female lion last year and clay was $2k+ for a rug. It’s going to live in my freezer I believe. -

I’ve seen it brought up a couple times of 30 guys surrounding a deer or elk. In Payson, it takes less than 10 minutes and you can be glassing somewhere in 22. Guys at work all chip in to help each other. I don’t feel it’s cheating if you are out in the woods glassing helping guys out, whether it’s two of you or 30 of you spread out. When somebody kills an elk in a hole, there might be 10-20 of us show up to help pack out. Sure there might be a picture of a bunch of guys in a kill photo but that doesn’t take away the friendship, tailgate beers, and good times. If you showed up with a dozen guys, sure that's probably not ethical and I may feel cheated, but that’s why you have a spare magazine to even up 🤣 All is good though. I’m not that passionate about how many guys hunt together, just seems like @trphyhntr is getting soft fishing every weekend so I just wanted to stir the pot.

Never said it was ethical or not. I just asked how it was cheating.

Just read the fair chase page on AZGFD website and I don’t see having too many guys helping as being illegal.

How is having 30 guys cheating?

He shoots a 28 nosler. Hybrids will hold up better.
