The benefits are superior fit comfort and performance. +$45.00 Couple of reviews on rokslide.com on the lathrop and sons foot beds. All seem positive.

Spotter works for me. I don't need SD cards with muzzle velocities on them. I find a load that I like and get the speed

Poi changes about 4" high for me. Can still shoot tiny groups with it on though

Just bought a magneto speed. Ease of use was the deciding factor for me. No tripod to set up, which can be a pain if you are at a busy range.
