Up for sale is a Christensen arms 300 ultra. It started life as a brand new off the shelf ruger #1. Dad sent it to CA and had them rebarrel, tune the trigger, and install a new stock. Unfortunate for us he lost the build sheet and CAno longer has the info for this rifle. From how I measured it it looks to be a 25ish" barrel, has a smooth trigger pull, and the stock has a few scratches and dents and comes with a limb saver recoil pad. I found 1 knick on the barrel. Has 1" rings that will come with rifle. I do not own a scale to weigh it. Has approximately 150 rounds down the barrel. Will come with approx 80 pieces of once fired brass from this rifle. He is asking $2300. Text or call with any questions 928-978-5053 Cliff

There was a good bull found dead by the golf course here in Payson. Guess they pulled a big tine out of its side

I retired the havalon due to broken blades as well. Used the edge 2 years in a row and am very happy. Any of you guys use custom knives? We have a couple really good knife builders in Payson and from what I hear you can get a season out of a good knife before sharpening.

Who ever invented the hammers for 410 shotguns sure got the last laugh. I had a bruised thigh every September when I was a little guy

If you buy 410 shells it's proof you have too much money

There is definitely a difference between a PM and an open thread. I think most guys started out by getting info from someone. But these days with google earth and forums a lot of the work is already done for you

Do they have cow hunts?

That's gonna be brutal

Good move. Nothing worse than continuing burying yourself in car loans

Sounds like the dent can't be fixed and you have to sell it off for a 3/4 ton
