What I have found with my kifaru frame and bag is that I no longer need a pack frame. I got tired of sending my 2200 in for zipper repairs and small tears and the load lifters and waist belt were not all that effective for me. Try it on and find some heavy stuff in the store and pack that bitch full and see how it feels. My kifaru has a sweet lumbar pad and aluminum stays custom bent to match my back profile and honestly is the most comfortable pack I own. I spoke to Aron Snyder and he told me what Would be best for me and I bought everything half priced from rokslide classifieds. Just another option to consider.

I've got a yeti and a grizzly. Save your money and buy canyon. Support a local company. They all seem to be as good as the other anymore. Only difference is latch preference. Remember they are not as big inside as they look on the outside!!!

Last year I ran the kifaru lost park parka. Perfect for glassing after sweating your nuts off on the hike in. Has a pouch on the belly and the arms and pouch are cordura so laying prone you don't have to worry about tearing your puffy. That puffy is phenomenal in the wind, only down fall would be that it doesn't compress as well as a down puffy. Also is definitely is not ment to be worn while hiking. Coors light decided I needed to type this.

Couldn't a guy go to Montana or Idaho every other year or so and hunt elk to get their elk fix in? I know everybody has a budget but it's relatively cheap to buy otc tags in other states while paying lower resident license and tag fees in AZ.
