  8. Well I got my Kenton industries turrets for my Leupold mark 4 that is mounted to my 7mm. All I can say is wow. Every yardage out to 1000 yards was spot on. The turret goes to 1100 and still has a full rotation. I have another for my 308 hope it is just as good.

    Kenton turrets

Yeah 3 weeks max. Normally ten days

    Kenton turrets

I've shot 5000 ft and below. They offer a program on there website that adjusts your yardage if u have extreme elevation change. Shot the one on my 7mm with a mk 4 let and was hitting targets at 1020 yards. When I set mine up I used 4K elevation and 70 degrees as my base.

  16. I just seen a commercial for Wac Em Broadheads on the sportsmans channel and could hardly believe my eyes. I went to there website and they are back in business. I know I sound a little excited but this was the only Broadhead I shot for years and harvested many deer and javelina with until they closed. I hope Sportsmans Warehouse carrys them again. Anyone else ever shoot them?

    Hunting within city limits?

Within Unit 25M as described in R12-4-108, all incorporated lands, including private property within municipal boundaries, are closed to hunting unless opened under Commission Order. Incorporated includes all municipal and corporate limits. County islands are open to hunting provided the hunter does not discharge a firearm within 1/4 mile of an occupied farmhouse, residence, cabin, lodge, or building without permission of the owner or resident. Privately held lands within county islands may be closed by the landowner. There are several rules that encompass multiple units. Read them before heading out.

Sick of hearing about you missing

Just in case someone did not know lol Texas heart shot A term used among the deer hunting community to describe an amateurish or other wise incompetent hunter who, through carelessness or lack of skill, shoots his deer directly in the butt instead of the vitals. These so-called hunters usually demonstrate the act on immature bucks or small does as these animals are easy game even for novice hunters. Luckily, big bucks seldom fall victim to this type of incompetence due to the fact they easily outsmart these neophyte hunters. The phrase is derived from novice hunters acting like 'cowboys' in the woods, shooting without aiming, taking risky shots and posing other hazards, ultimately wounding deer with the dreaded 'texas heart shot'.

Sick of hearing about you missing

I was on an archery mule deer hunt in New Mexico a few years ago and actually witnessed some guy give a nice buck a Texas heart shot. The deer only went 30 yards. I walked over to it and I'll tell ya, it couldn't have been more centered. Oh by the way he hit it with a rage.

    Wac Em Broadheads

It says a group of guys bought it the end of 2014 either way I'm a happy bow hunter.

Sick of hearing about you missing

Is it unethical to have buck fever. You have done everything right all year round practiced with your bow or rifle, everything is dialed in. Then comes the moment a nice deer steps out and your heart is racing, you have tunnel vision and as you pull the trigger the animal takes a step or jumps your string now he's wounded. I would say these are events that are apart of hunting. They have happened to me. What you do to fix the situation speaks volumes I.e follow up shot, doing what is necessary to ensure you harvest the animal. And the buck fever is the best part of the experience, your body and mind is excited sure you can somewhat control it but we are human. If I ever shoot an animal and don't feel the emotion and excitement its time to stop hunting.
