What kind of charge could I go down to, like 10gr? I dont want to squib load but dont know around what pressure that would occur

Ive got the die set to bump .0025 after fire formed. havent shot through a chronograph, these were the first few rounds through this build for me.

Who anneals their brass and what device do you use to do it? Looking at possibly getting an annealing machine or open to other methods

Your link was broken; when I think of annealing im drawn to it for the extended brass life aspect, but the neck tension is a plus.

Luckily im no trophy hunter, Id like to fill the tag on something bigger than a spike or forky. Ive still got time and am out every weekend so we’ll see what I can turn up

I guess I should have phrased my question 22 mule deer general terrain and vegetation. I assumed desert areas would be the best place to find them. But 22 seems interesting where you’ll find them in the same areas as coues deer

Id agree with that; I busted a buck saturday and he hauled butt up some the steepest boulder covered junk ive seen. Im trying to narrow down some better flats to look into, 22 doesnt seem to have a ton of these flats type areas

Yah found the same thing. My dad drew a coues tag same unit, so hopefully I can put him on a deer. His hunt is one week before. Early hunt for the unit.

I’ll keep putting in the work. I’ll just keep an eye on them and keep checking if they are still there each month leading up to my hunt

End of october, beginning of november. It seems even if I find bucks now they move quite a bit by november, or im just over looking them. Do you find if they are there now they are still there in november?

Hi all, im building an upper for my ar15. Was gonna go 6mm arc but I came across a 6mm AR DA Van Horne barrel and dies for sale. Its a wildcat though and would be my first wildcat cartridge. Worth it or just stick with the new 6mm ARC? Its gonna be for predators.
