sent a pm a few minutes ago. Seconds...if I was short on the draw.

Right!? Crazy stuff, but that does seem to be what people are willing to pay.
-
Haha no problem; got a buddy who just ordered a 300 prc and im helping him look for bullets to load.
-
How much would you want for the 220’s?
-
New to this and have a question about groups, so your group looks good but appear “off target”, do you adjust your scope to hit center or do you leave it shooting left or do you consider it error based on how you were shooting the rifle that day? I see a lot of people grouping well but off to one side of the target.

Load a bunch at home in varying lengths and bring with to range, I didn't know such a press existed.

Never thought about doing this, sounds like a good way to test COAL

Anybody use the ranger point clover peep sight on their marlin 336? Or any other peep suggestions?

How do you like the XS sights? I notice they only offer a ghost ring set up, do you feel like there is any use for a smaller aperture? -

Armslist has now decided to charge a monthly fee to contact sellers or create listings. I think its BS, guess I wont be using it anymore, where else does everyone go? besides here obviously
-
Thats 3.99 if you link a bank account; 6.99 if you use credit card. I thought the same thing, but I doubt many people will pay the monthly charge to list. It will only be premium vendors so the benefit of going through armslist (no tax or ffl transfer if local) is void.

This is True, every once in a while somebody sells something reasonably priced... but oh well, not worth it.

I am trying to help my friend trade his marlin 243. He is an older gentleman that has helped me get into reloading. Being older he has gotten away from bigger calibers and is looking to trade his marlin x7 243 for a 223 bolt action. He said he prefers an axis, axis 2, or howa with a synthetic stock. (There was one more but cant remember) he prefers these due to their light weight. here is his ad if anybody has something to fit the bill. His name is Michael. Thanks for looking! https://www.armslist.com/posts/12246917/phoenix-arizona-rifles-for-sale-trade--marlin-243-bolt-action-with-weaver-2x7-scope-

I have decided to replace the cheap flimsy savage stock with a boyds wood stock. This is stupid but I cant decide which color to go with. I am between the pepper color and nutmeg. My barrel and action are cerakoted midnight bronze (attempted to show in picture). I believe the pepper color is more grey than the picture shows. Let me know which you think!
-
Why is retumbo so popular? I just started loading and have only used IMR3031 for 223, 30-30, and 308.

WHICH COLOR!? Stock replacement
bowhunter-tw replied to bowhunter-tw's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
It seems boyds is the only one who makes stocks for the axis... are there others I missed? -
I will take the tool box and tools if still available

Kicking around the idea of buying a 243. tikka, remington, winchester, others? let me know if you have one you are thinking about parting with. thanks,
