I have found when shooting I need to make sure the rifle recoils freely for my most accurate shots. I try and use as little input from me as possible rest my cheek on the cheek rest and lay my hand lightly on the side of the rifle no thumb over the stock and pull the trigger back with steady even force till it goes off. The best thing I have found for accuracy is lighter trigger weight and do not try and manage recoil with tight holds.

they closed it last year it was called Reno Pass it is now open 50 inch or less and they graded and smoothed it out. I had a friend go with me just after I got my side by side on that road and we got to the end near sunflower and had to turn back he said there has to be a different way I dont want to go back through there. I said this is the only way i know hold on and 12 miles later we were back at Tonto Basin. I asked if he need help remove the seat cover he had been suckin up his rectum the whole way

I beg to differ on shot on target time. I have timed to first shot hit numerous times at 1 second from leather carry holster, not my competition rig. I shoot tuesday night steel for about 3 years now and am much faster than I was when I was checking time to 1st shot. I regularly shoot stages at about 20 seconds for 20-28 shots while moving and enguageing targets from multiple areas. You work on your bear spray I will work on my lead spray and hope thats all we have to do is practice.

What coues caliber to build off a Remington 700 Long Action

nothing it is a 6.5 -
I just love being out there and glassing then tryin to find my way close enough to accomplish my goal. My goal is real simple harvest the animal ethically. It sounds like your doing a great job and ready for trying to take animals that you know more of their history and have watched. Most of us are not professional hunters and are lucky to just harvest a animal. Maybe you could hire a guide for a few hunts and just study what a professional does as far as tactics.

I have the Tikka t3x ctr and mine has been better than expected for a factory built rifle. Factory ammo 10 shot group 1/2 moa. I beilive my reloads are slightly better hard to tell it shoots so well. -
I would carry 1911 with plus-p rounds and shoot at the face take away eyes and brain.

Pick a 6.5! Got a factory built creedmoor and recoil is minimal accuracy is fantastic, trigger I would use would be a timney set around 1.5 lbs pick a nice stock with adjustable cheek rest, bartlien barrel and muzzle brake quick disconnect mount for suppressor, If you want to sell that action I have thought of building one as well -

6.5 creedmoor, 338 lapua mag, are the calibers just wanting to get all the accuracy I can. Both are shooting 1/2 moa at 200-600 just thinking beyond that? Or is there a benefit to this? My case expansion is .0015 on the creedmoor so that seems good and .002 on .338 just trying to gain all I can i guess.

I live in Gilbert and work outdoors year around if you stay out of the sun and have a breeze or evaporative cooler blowing on you it is tollerable except for july and august. If you have a pool and swim when you get out it is cold not like east coast where you stay wet. The water evaporates so fast you get a cold feeling from it. I,m a native so this is all i know.I have seen temps in flagstaff of -18 on a elk hunt and worn shorts when deer hunting in october.

Powder choices for variety of weather
Tac replied to border hunter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I was in the same boat and looking for h4350 powder and it is hard to find. I,m using superformance hornady powder and it is NOT a temp stable powder but i do like that it gained 75 fps out of a 20 inch barrel over h4350. I hope it does not change too much with temp. If i find h4350 i will buy it and work up a load with it also. -
I feel that the fans of NFL and ticket holders should refund tickets until the NFL bans this guy for life! Just another reason why Americans should focus on things other than pro sports and hollywood for entertainment. overpaid useless people..............

I was at rio salado and had a crosswind yesterday afternoon testing jump n one gun and annealed brass on the other just noticed a poi change on my mag of 1 Moa at 200 part may have been the wind the groups were a little larger also. The other gun I was shooting and testing bullet jump and two different bullets and I learned it was good before I messed with it.
