I use both the Warne rings and Talley ultra lights on my tikka's. If my memory is correct the Warnes only weigh 2.5oz per set more than the Talleys. The Warnes are the simple solution if you want to use the recoil lug hole. Tikka Performance makes a rail for the T3/T3X if you think you need one. IMO go with the Warnes if you want SOLID, go with the Xlow talleys if you like your scope mounted low.

Anybody here have a suppressor on a stock T3X Lite? What size threads did you put on your muzzle?

I have a SilencerCo Harvester 30 so I can choose from any of their direct thread mounts 1/2-28, 9/16-28, or 5/8-28.

It's a 6.5 cal. 22" barrel. Muzzle diameter measures .636 on my caliper. Barrel is fluted so cant cut it back more than an 1".

+1 for Avenza Maps. The app is free and maps don't cost much. Game Planner Maps used to be a sponsor on here and he makes nice maps for Avenza. The nice thing about Avenza is you can really test it out over a long period without much cost. It's easy to use and has more functionality than a gps. You can use it in the field without a cell signal and easily import tracks and waypoints to and from Google Earth.

Game planner maps is out of Chandler. He makes custom maps based on classic topo base map, I bought one for my Wyoming antelope trip and am very happy with it. He also does maps for the avenza app and I think those maps are about $10. I bought one of his unit maps for 36C few years ago, again very happy with it. Their free online map viewer that is pretty awesome on for online map scouting. www.gameplannermaps.com
