I have a few questions about the unit and I'm looking for any Unit 8 guys willing to offer up some info? My dad drew a late rifle bull tag. Its his first bull tag and I'd really like to see him shoot one. PM's probably best. Thanks

Cabelas microtex pants 34x32 and lightweight fleece vest (L). Outfitter camo. Worn a couple times. $30 for both will not split. Proper Multicam 4way stretch softshell jacket (L) and cargo pants (M ~ 30X32). Both in excellent condition, water resistant. $40 for jacket, $30 for pants, prefer to sell together.

Look for areas where habitat transitions from one type to another; ie PJ to desert scrub , oak woodland to PJ. Transition areas usually provide more diversity in forage, bonus if there's water in the area. Do yourself a favor look at the game planner maps map viewer. All the unit boundaries, land ownership, roads, water, and even vegetation is available. They can print you a map for whatever areas you decide to hunt.

Try to find areas where you can get in behind private. Game Planner maps did a unit 29 map for a buddy of mine. The maps is really nice.

Early Kaibab rifle

+4 on the Tikka T3. Just picked one up myself in 6.5X55 and it shoots ~.3 moa with three different handloads. Nice smooth action and the stock is a lot better than most. There are some killer online deals right now.
