I do know the history..... But $400 for a M77 with red pad and tang safety is a pretty good deal. I have bought two rifles from DH and would probably be offering on this one if I didn't have three .270's piled up already. Kent

My buddy and I bought one for our daughters to share about five years ago. Has something similar to an accu-trigger. We went through the same decision process, 7-08 vs .243 and went .243. Now that they are older they mostly shoot my friends synthetic Savage 111 in 25-06. 6.5s are awesome but being able to buy ammo at Walmart is a definite plus. Though the 6.5 CM Abolt Micro Stalker on CDNN looks pretty nice. Good Luck, Kent

Never held an T3x. Think they changed the stock and increased the price.

I think that one is a Super-lite as it has the fluted barrel. Those were about $100 more than the regular T3 lite.

I wouldn't consider matte stainless a negative in anyway. Except for price maybe.

Have new Tikka t3 Lite Adjustable in .260 Remington for sale. This is the model with the black synthetic stock that has an adjustable cheek piece and LOP spacers. Would be a really neat rifle to start younger shooter on as it can grow with them. Everything that originally came with rifle is here, only out of the box for the pictures. $600 ftf or 625 shipped.
