    Doug has Minox Z3s in 3-9 for $99 or Weaver Grand Slams on Ebay for $150. Either would serve 90% of anyone's intended use.

    Lots of good help here. 2 cents more. If you're buying new I'd go with a top-line rifle(not Axis, 783, American). Deals can be found on Savage 110's and Howas close to what you're willing to spend. Check out CDNN or Whittaker's online for deals. That leaves a lot more upside if you ever want to improve or sell the rifle. But I think the best path is to find a used and scoped rifle that someone has "outgrown." Used and scoped can be done for $350 and it's AZ so face to face is paperless/painless. New and then decent optics is going to be $450 to 500 once taxes or shipping is added. 270, 30-06 or 308 Kent

    Selling a Weatherby Mark V Ultra Lightweight in .270 Win. It is just like the one that first comes up on the Weatherby link below. Rifle has been hunted for two years. Shows some very light wear: Minor rubbing in bluing on front of bottom metal, also paint is lightly rubbed at the back of the cheek piece and on the bottom of grip. Less than 100 rnds through it. Comes with the Talleys pictured. Last one sold for $1200 on Gunbroker so that is what I am asking. In Tucson near downtown/campus.     Selling a Leupold VX-3L 4.5-14x50 scope with the B & C reticle. This the model with the cut out in the bottom of the bell so you can mount it with low rings. Scope is in excellent used condition.     Got a nice looking Rem 700 BDL in .270 that needs a new home. Haven't shot it. Think stock is aftermarket, but not sure, it has a nice matte rubbed oil finish on it. Barrel code shows 1968. Comes with Buehler Rings and mounts. $450 face to face in Tucson area. Can ship to an FFL for $30 more. Happy to answer questions and can email more pictures, Kent
