Adds a new twist to the question of, "Do I shoot him?" Do you shoot him as a little guy and have an awesome animal or let him walk and hopefully grow up a bit? If it was private land, it's a no brainer but knowing there are many people that would shoot him just over the next hill would have to factor in.. Assuming it's public land and open for the archery and rifle hunts.. I think I would pass till he's at least a solid 3X. I hunt in an area that has some albino coues, according to many I've talked to in that area, but never thought about it because I have no interest in those little guys. Unless a 100"+ appears, then I'd have to let one fly.. Curious what others think..

Gotta love the strippers in Humbug cove at Pleasant. Sometimes good for catching stripers as well.

Interesting for sure. I think I like it. It's bridging the gap between a typical mount and 3D/relief art. Looks like it's well done too. (I can already picture the emails containing pics of this type of "mount" gone horribly wrong)

Are you looking for deer or deer ticks? lol Putting down the 15's for anything beyond 1/4 mile just sounds wrong!

Whatever you decide, my suggestion is don't change it at the last minute. Practice with what you are going to take in the field. When your adrenaline is pumping, the last thing you need to worry about is what is that pin set for. My other tip is slider related. (Especially a multi pin slider. Like my 5 pin slider) If you prepare for a shot where you moved your slider and then move in closer to your fixed pin range, don't forget to move the slider back to "home". Sounds easy but when all your attention is focused on sneaking in on multiple deer, it's all too easy to forget about that. So yes, I know the dread and shock of sending an arrow over the back of a really nice deer. It sucks!!

I happen to know this deer was several miles from any maintained "road" that your typical road hunters hunt. But yes, a very shootable buck. Hope I draw my 13B tag this year.

Totally agree. Especially about the deer hunting. I've been there/hunted it the last 3 years. I don't think I will this year as the crowds are ridiculous. Getting off the beaten path is mandatory and even then, I found hunters on top of every mountain I hiked in to. There are some good deer in there but be prepared to bust your butt to beat the other guys to them. And of course road hunting is rampant up there. Great place to get out of the heat though!

I had this happen with BOA with bear and pig tags and they thought it was a duplicate charge and declined one of them.. Called GF and they said they just run it back through.

Well if getting hit makes 100 pages, all the people that DIDN"T get hit could easily make 1000!!!

It's not like I'm going for the best unit. And my buddies just keep on getting tags in the same unit!!!!

Hit Rosi on Friday morning and afternoon. Had a couple hits on topwater and caught 1 smallie after pestering him for 5 minutes and hitting him on the head about 7 times with various baits. Got off lake around 2:00PM and after the wind picked up, just headed home. I was told by several people that the bite was crazy good last week before the fronts went through. Should be picking up again soon. I guess the crappy days make the great days that much better. I have NEVER seen so many carp. Big schools feeding on top in every cove till we got off the lake.. I'm taking my bow next time. Could have at least played with them since the bass were locked down..

I almost turned after crossing the bridge. It's just hard to say no to Rosi... May have to stay up there a few days and give it a try.. Always hear good things about it.

They are all over Rosi now.. Every cove has tons.. Crazy!

Tried several times for Flats.. Tied up in a good spot by the buoys.. Guy 50 yards above me catches a 40+ and the guy on the shore below me catches a 32#er.. I caught zip.. Big fat bluegill under a bobber.. I am getting the urge to try again... There or Rosi...

As soon as work allows, I'm headed up to some spots in 22.. OTC and Spring tag in pocket. And of course the never ending, never filled kitty tag too.
