Some are just darker than others here I guess.

Heck ya Travis. You the man. Appreciate your service and everyone that serves or has served. You have been a good buddy of mine and know we take care of our vets.

The nice thing is that I can leave all the deer hanging in front yard all week because the highs are in the 30s lol.
-
Oh heck ya. All they eat is my corn lol.
-
They are like roaches here.

I’m on doe patrol tomorrow. Need to thin them out some.

Got into stand at 1pm. Had a doe come in right away. Was quiet till about 4pm when I happened to look behind me which was downwind and seen this guy walking my way. I couldn’t grab my bow off the hook on tree because he was so close. He walked under my tree and started licking it. He then walked away from me and stopped about 20 yards. He was quartered away pretty good but I let it fly. I hit right where I wanted behind the last rib because of the quartering angle. The arrow was deeper in him than the pic shows but started working it’s way out. After gutting I hit lung and heart I found out. He went maybe 40 yards and was found floating in the river. I started using Conquest scents this year and it’s a game changer. I’ve had multiple deer come from behind me and never get busted. I rub their rutting buck stick all over the trees I'm in and it draws them in undetected. Overall he’s a decent buck not a monster. I liked the little extra on him and it just worked out so well. All done with him now and drinking beer and grilling some steaks. Still have a lot of tags left and will be back at it tomorrow.

An arrow was flung 30 minutes ago.

Good luck man

Pheasant everywhere. Literally all over.

Get it done man. I have been having tons of does under my stands. No “big” bucks yet though. Just a matter of time. I’m where the does are so a buck will eventually show.

Had a whopper WT come from behind me and cross the river. Heard leaves rustling and looked back to see him walking away. Hit the grunt tube and he turned my way but never committed.

NW Kansas lots of mule deer

Plus they really lack power going through the mountains in NM. It’s great now it’s here but might fly home and leave the wind sail here lol.
-
Still waiting for a good one.
-
Horrible. Wind blew it all over and could hardly keep it in a lane. Struggled uphill through NM and ya flat out is a chitty vehicle for long travel in.
-
Yup. KU does studies on some deer in Kansas.

Wife was shaking so bad and couldn’t let one fly on this guy. He was nice.

Ya I was swaying bad in this 40mph wind today.
