Ya it seems the older we get the harder it is on us.

Funny thing is that as slow as she is to get around right now she did something pretty cool. I have some Mearns quail mounts set up on a table and she grabbed one this morning and was walking around the house with it looking for me. Gave it to me and went back to her bed.

Ya have to do what’s right for the animal.

Ya watched it take off and was a cool piece of history. Just incredible how it all worked and the amount of work put into it. Too bad it didn’t get more attention than it deserved.

Wasn’t pretty lol. Was on tractor and saw a few of them in the grass with their heads up 40 yards from me. I went and got gun from house and walked up to where they were. They took off running and I started spraying and got this one.

Every time I use it I wonder if I should just go buy new batteries but don’t lol.

I’m just lucky I’ve gotten 4+ years I guess lol. When my generator runs it’s charging them while camping/hunting too. I have a kill switch on the trailer if that matters.

I have had 2 batteries on my trailer for 4 years now. That are in plastic cases under the trailer nose cone so in the shade always. Never put them on a battery tender or charger. I plug trailer in for a few days before I use it which is like 5 times a year and never had a battery problem. I know I’m on borrowed time but I'm not one to fix what isn’t broken.
