Highs are in the upper 40's. I just thought we would have had one come in. We see them on ridges in this area in mornings when deer or pheasant hunting but when we set up a stand nothing shows. I'm asking for advice cause this is not my expertise. Anyway going out tomorrow at daylight hopefully that helps???

Ranger is out of sight.

Wind has been at 0. I have been calling around the noon hour ( after deer hunts ) ya I know that's not good but tried. Still on stand. Range is way out of sight. We're in shade of bushes not moving. Tomorrow I plan on getting on stand before sun rises. I want advice what to do so we can call some in. Like I said we saw a couple different coyotes on ridges a week ago here.

I will offer up my ranch in Buckeye to let these hunters hunt dove when it opens back up. I have a ton of dove that can be shot. Easy access for older/disabled hunters. I will have my bird dogs available as retrievers as well. Let me know if this would help you or your organization out. Kenny

Any shotgun will work for quail. I have a benelli o/u in a 28 and 20 and a SKB in a o/u 12. I use the 28 almost 98% of the time.

I don't think a check cord should be allowed. That takes away from the whole hunting aspect. E collars yes, but check cords no. My heeler can be ran on a check cord and do this.

They were walking through a farm field where we were quail hunting.

Check 2 prairie chickens off the list. Got them this morning.

It's a blast. Especially when they hold for the dog. Scares the heck out of you when they leave at your feet.

Short hunt today

Nice. At our farms here I have been going out and glossing up 1-200 deer a day. Both mulies and whitetail. Amazing here.

She did great. We are now working on turkey #2 and some more deer.

Well the wife and I got our turkeys today and had a great pheasant hunt on our farm. More quail and pheasant for the next month.

Ya rut is in full swing. Saw bucks mounting does.

Quail and pheasant open tomorrow. We've already seen a ton of pheasant and a few bobwhite coveys on our farm. Tomorrow should be fun.
