68D road hike a couple miles east off road. Some toads back in there.

Unit 41 is a limited area for that hunt. Only 2 pigs can be killed and you would need 2 tags not one. It's a small area with problem pigs and they are low in numbers and hard to find.

Yes you can kill 2 in same unit as long as hunt number is different.

I'm mostly just a bird hunter but got talked into buying more rifles for coyotes, deer, and whatever else. Anyway I bought 3 new Tikkas and they are super accurate. Do you guys shoot these rifles? I'm very impressed with the accuracy and tight groups they shoot.

Anyone wanna get out and call some yotes? I'm free tomorrow. Not a real big coyote hunter but my quail spot has had coyote scat everywhere (fresh) I go. Not a pile here and there but all over the place. Let me know.

Getting pumped for quail. Been roading my GSP's and getting them tuned up and ready.

Got a few Scalies today. Dogs did really good on those fast runners.

Going south tomorrow. Going for Scalies. Did really good the opener by the Congress area if that helps you DUG.

Never gets old seeing these pictures. This point was on some quail we raise just to train younger dogs on. Love it.

+1 on taking to a trainer if you want a retriever dog. Tie a lead rope around your belt loops and attach to dog giving him about 5 feet. Take him out shooting and reward him after you shoot with a treat and pet him up good. Eventually he will get it. That's what I do with my pups that were a little gun shy.

My dogs don't even get to dove hunt. They stay in the kennels until quail arrives. Quail is where the big boys come out and play.

I'll be hunting Saturday thru Tuesday. Dogs are ready to get it on.
