    My quail spots have some prickly pear but mostly grassland about a foot tall. Rolling hills. Great area for gambles.

    Never hunted the area. If you go and get into any mearns then message me. I'll load up the dog and we can go out.

    I didn't have luck with the Britts working as fast as the GSPs. It's just my own opinion though. I do hunt dogs for people though.

    I'm heading to my parents cabin Wednesday till Friday up in Strawberry. Thinking of driving south to look for quail. I will have my GSP with us. How are the birds there?

    Well the wife and I limited out last Saturday at our honey hole. Quail numbers are great this year.

    My GSP holds and points for gambles. She knows to stay 10 yards from the covey and hold till she's told to release. It can be done.

    No snakes where we were.

    We hunted from sun up till about 9am. Our GSP worked amazing and really had it together that day.

    I don't have any at the moment. I hunt fri-sun during quail season. I'll take some this weekend when we go back.
