Took some time off from posting, also combined some posts to this old one. And I will have you know Mr smartypants, a good woman never gets rid of her heels.

Great idea!

Also already shared. Daughters last youth tag, she usually gives it all and suffers on her hunts so this was a great ending! Could not have done it without our buddy Jeff!

Yeah it looked like they did not like it one bit. Years ago sitting in a blind had my oldest daughter with me, she was like 8 at the time. Had a buck come in and needed him to take one more step. At the same time we could here someone on horseback coming down a nearby trail. As his head locked on to the sound it slowly turned following it and as the steps went around behind us you could see his demeanor completely change when he saw the black opening of the blind. He turned around and walked away. It was heartbreaking, would have been my biggest buck at the time. The blind was kind of brushed in, just not that well.

Unfortunately we had a fish tank fire last night. Apparently the heater shorted and started to burn the frame of the tank and the water supply line. Fortunately my wife and oldest boy were still up and went to investigate after smelling smoke so no serious damage to the house and thank GOD no one was killed. Unfortunately my buck was sitting on top of the tank due to some remodeling we were doing in the house. Luckily only the back where it secures to the wall got the most damage, slightly singed hairs on the edge but catastrophe mostly avoided. The antlers and hide have a bit of soot on them and I'm scared to just wipe it off. Suggestions?

I have a hard time believing those numbers. I bet poachers vote.
