Were getting a bunch made for the kowa 66mm, I'd imagine that they would fit. I think one of the guys ordering is from safford or Thatcher so you might be able to make sure they are a good fit. 1. Like you stated zipper on top, a GOOD zipper. 2. Another handle on top by the eyepieces to grab easily out of a pack. 3. A little extra padding in the bottom for the objectives possibly since they would likely be taking the weight in the pack. 4. Me personally will be having 30x eyepeieces and will probably have a zoom eyepiece as well. If there were a way to utilize the space under the eyepieces for a pocket to hold the spare eyepiece, but would probably be a tight fit. 5. Also any pockets at all for an Allen key, lens cloth but none of those items would be deal breakers. Looks like a pretty good fit so far.

On x is nice because you have the option of satellite view. Flatline is really nice with the shading, it really shows smaller differences in ground contour that On x doesn't as well
