I've paid $100 to get barrels threaded and brake installed. No idea on the bolt but I've read roughly fluting cost about $100 per ounce. Seems like a good deal to me. If I was in the market I'd jump at this.

That's funny, I always wonder the same thing. I think most serious coues hunters are also probably like that. As for the water question, I feel like I go through a lot of water. I'd personally feel safer having 2 gallons per day and bring some sort of electrolyte mix.

That sucks dude. I once heard someone mention they dont have any hunting stickers on their vehicles for this very reason (like it's an advertisement that there could be pricey gear inside). Made me think and I've also decided not to put any on my truck. Not to mention an occasional tree hugger that might want to key my car or something. Of course not having stickers wont stop a potential thief either. Any chance you have an app on the tablet to be able to find where it is?

If you want to end up changing the stock look at the Boyd's at one stock has an adjustable cheek comb and adjustable length of pull I got one for my son's 7.8 that's a Savage Axis and my daughters Savage fv12. Not to mention they look pretty Sharp!

Delw is correct. One otc deer tag is good for the archery hunt all year long. Only in open units. And if you kill in August you can not kill one with a rifle later. One deer per year.
