After reading this thread several times and checking out some of the YouTube channels mentioned here is where im at. Syntaxx77 and darwin onthetrail have some great YT videos on camping ultralight on a budget. Used eureka solo tent. Under 3 lbs. $30 Cascade mountain tech carbon fiber trekking poles. 1.5 pounds. $45 Trekology ultralight pillow 2.9oz. $15 Outdoorsmans lab ultralight inflatable pad 15.5oz $42 Thermarest z lite pad. 1.1 pounds. $20 (will combine them when really cold) Aegismax UL envelope goose down bag 1.3 pounds $92 Aegismax UL goose down bag for the kids 15.5 oz $83 So for me I'm at 6 pounds for sleeping system and tent. That's not bad for $200 and it's at least a good starting point. We will see about this $92 bag but darwin onthetrail gave the bag and the outdoorsman pad great reviews. Also very good reviews on Amazon.

Um ok.. I don't think this guy is the typical dumb redneck that somehow got a tv deal. He's smart and creates an interesting dialogue for non hunters to hear. There's a reason they call them angry bull dykes. I don't know what it is though. You would have to ask nobull350, I thought I saw him (or whatever it identifies as) in the background. It all makes sense though given the way he makes arguments with no logic and common sense and all.

I agree and disagree with that. heck, leaving your house for the day is a risk just like everything else in life but if someone steals a $200 item while Your gone Are you just supposed to let it go? Now say all your neighbors had the same issue, Im gonna guess youd be on the hunt too.If a low life camera thief (that is what they are), follows you around swiping your cams that you have placed on public land, unfortunately, you have no lawful recourse. Law enforcement won't do anything. End of story. Don't be so sure. They just may do something. If you get caught stealing cams game and fish just might "have it out for you" and frame you for shooting a buck out of season and in a closed unit and also allegedly with a rifle when it was actually archery season. Or so I have heard...

6 years ago I got pulled over for no mud flaps. I was given a repair order and a ticket for no seat belt...I had that repair order 3 times. Never did it. All I had to do was send in pictures of the repair. I C-clamped the flaps in and sent in the pics Punk. You're a slave to the mudflap man. All I did was absolutely nothing. I was nervous the 2nd and 3rd time but it never got brought up.
