That's why I carry my keys to the city and a few extra padlocks. https://www.globalindustrial.com/p/tools/Grinders-Sanders/cable-bolt-cutters/heavy-duty-bolt-cutters-14228?presentType=99&trackCatKey=0&trackPrimKey=0&trackType=6&webCatKey=0

I measured our roofs with google earth. Id check the street view for the pitch then use the measuring tool. I was amazed how accurate they came out.

Me and my old partner had a roofing company together until I gave my half to him. We always discouraged people from doing overlays. It can make the attic hotter which is why you routinely see guys install whirlies when they overlay to compensate for the added heat. It also cuts the lifespan of your new shingles and in the end when you do the roof again you will pay extra to have the second layer torn. In the long run it's not worth it. Also if you call Owens corning they will tell you it voids the warranty. We prefered their Oakridge line over the tamko. Also you can probably get a better price for materials through Beacon roofing supply instead of home depot or Lowes.

Here he is, alive and well: https://www.instagram.com/macoutfitters/?hl=en Well I'm guessing no conviction.

3c isn't open on December either bro, do you know the regulations? I don't know late regs for up there. Just the kids youth hunts. So he killed illegally then stuck an arrow in it or killed illegally by killing out of season or both. Regs say up to 5 years. I just looked up the definition of felony. Punishable prison time over one year.

So if it's not about killing that buck on the rez then what? Road hunting it? And where's the felony come in to play?

Did he end up with a guilty verdict?

Whatever happened to the dude that may or may not have killed that big Muley on the Grand Canyon park?

It's more to do with it being the first hunt. Not archery vs rifle. -
Sounds like Wyoming might be worth a visit!

Adam, are most of the hunts your applying for "trophy" hunts? I love to hunt but don't care as much about scores. My only personal requirement is a mature animal. IE a 6x6 bull, or a 8 pt. buck etc. Sure a monster is great but not expected. This as part of the process would open up even more doors right? I've been contemplating doing the out of state thing but just don't know if it's worth the investment. I guess if I didn't have 5 kids that I can live through it would probably be more cut and dry for me. Let me rephrase this way.... white Billy goat, bighorn sheep (desert or mountain) and antelope are my 3 animals I most want to hunt. Knowing the score is not my priority but a mature animal whats your suggestion? Great post by the way!

A buddy of mine and some of his friends did that in selha Washington back in the late 70's when the local res wanted to get rid of some wild mustangs a ton of them. basically you catch them you can keep them. I believe they got 3. the Indians just laughed at them and said good luck.2 of them were shot and sold for dog meat with in a year cause they were the meanest nastiest animals in the world. the other one his friend still had when I moved in late 81. the thing broke out its fencing like every 2 weeks or so cost a ton of money in vet bills to other horses. and chewed the crap out of his arm requiring major stitches and surgery. he still kept it cause his girlfriend then wife liked it.made a good guard dog though, no one road horse along the road of his property one one walked along the fence line along his property either. even the mail man refused to go deliver the mail until he built pen on the back side of the of the property. I've wondered the same thing. Wild mustangs would be a much different situation right?

Wow that's very cool. Love the antler base. -
I think given that situation game and fish should give your points back or something. Good topic to bring up at a meeting.

I got my thunderbeast from Matt (rancilio). Nice guy, easy to work with.

How much does fluting affect accuracy. Doesn't fluting make rifles slightly less rigid therefore slightly less accurate? Recently bought a Remington LRH in 7 mag and would love to have it done but dont want to sacrifice any accuracy.

Yep.... We were'nt so lucky... although luckier than most. Took the lady up to Flagstaff for the weekend. Convinced her of the short "hop" from flag to powell. GTook her kayaking up antelope canyon. Nice leisure drive home on sunday. (we avoided the construction on i-17 by going through payson). Just outside of rye, hit the back up. Turned around, took a dirt road to Jake's corner and then home. 5.5 hours to get home 5.5 hours, that's longer than the drive back to Sierra Vista!
