Yup the camp is pretty much right on the border of 23 and 4a and it's awesome. We've been there the last 2 years and will be again this year. They feed you which is awesome and lots of prizes for the kids. Btw that is a killer hunting rig.

I think you'll be fine. I routinely glass deer that know I'm there. As long as they "feel" safe your good. I think it does depend on how use the deer are to activity.

While this does sound like a good idea you do run he risk of drawing the tag the next year and can't use point guard twice. So if you can't make the hunt you are screwed. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The thing that makes me wonder is about the "3 groups have filed exploratory mining claims". Might be more about a back door way to stop the big mine that has been in the works north of Patty. However since Patty is the only lake down my way that's not on the mercury list I could care less if that potential mine got stopped. Id hate to see one of the only non polluted lakes get trashed.
