I have peasant eyes now. But with a vortex uni and benro s2 plate.
-
That's funny. I've cut into stomachs and guts way more then I would ever want to admit.
-
No need. The regular vortex adapters work just fine. Not the big one that use to come with kaibabs though. I don't like those, too big and bulky. All my glass has the vortex uni mount already stuck to my benro plates. I just swap out whatever I want to glass with on the same tripod.

Not for me. I've never really had a real harsh odor during gutting but I've never gutted a lion. This was told to me by Dale from wild heritage taxidermy. Lion meat is great but the smell is awful (I'm told). I figure he's in the know more then I am. That being said I've cut into the stomach of animals and I always tell myself to never do it again. Uncontrollable dry heaves and all.

I've only heard lion meat is great but the smell when you cut them open would turn you off.

Thought maybe a Thai soup or something. I'd give it a taste though!

All looks good. What kind of soup is that?

Good luck! Waiting...

I like it the way it is honestly. When we have both we try and kill for meat first day then trophy hunt. it does suck having to choose elk over youth hunts at home though which I get.
-
Same time as youth elk

Trying to understand... Your uncle is eugene the one on left pic #1? Not sure who's who but the dude on right #1 pic I assume is the old timer in pic #2?

Had a buddy telling about these pants. At least I assume these. His friend was showing him and walked over a teddy cholla without getting poked at all.

Wife and I did the hualipi (wrong spelling) river trip down the Colorado. They drive you down from the rez to get on board and go quite a ways downstream. Then pick you up in a chopper and fly over and take a bus back. Think it was $300 per person but was worth every penny. It was super fun and the guides (2) we're great. Highly recommend.

You guys had bull tag? Cow I thought
