    America’s youth is ya’lls kids so…

Worked my kids as soon as they were able. My oldest turned 21 today. She's done 14 hour days with me in the past. Became manager while in high school her first job.  Second oldest quickly did the same. He now works for me and also part of the future business.  Your statement is true though. I always talk about this subject with my customers and I always tell people that kids of business owners seem to have the best work ethics.

Well he did say that. He said he doesn’t know ANY hardworkers other than Mexicans or Central Americans. I find that hard to believe.

Not saying there's no hard workers that are white. I can only speak of my personal experience.  I did have one white kid that was great. He moved to Alaska though.

     You’re unhinged if serious

to the bolded, you need some new friends or better hiring tactics. I assure you there’s plenty of hardworking white guys on this forum.

As an employer I see where he is coming from. My best guy ever died on i10 coming back home from South of the border. His work ethic was impeccable. And yes he was legal.  His kids now are my future business partners.  Not saying there aren't any white dudes capable but after 20 years killing myself with spotty help at the best, none of my gringo brothers that I had work for me I would trust like I do these guys.  Work ethic has gone out the window for America's youth. Sad to say but it is true.

Be sure to keep an eye out for turkeys lol

Saw another flock at the ranch house just out west gate this am. I've seen them roost in that big cottonwood right there before.  Noticed a Jake with this group 7" beard

Can someone give me a simple explanation of what state trust land means exactly ? I recently ran into a sign claiming it was state trust land and required a permit?

Also, I called Elkins last winter at Christmas time and asked permission to go coyote calling on his ranch! He gave me permission! I’ve done many carpentry jobs for him through the years!

Sounds like im gonna have to go give him a visit and see what’s going on!

I’ve been on both sides of the ranching/ farming side of the fence! I hate what has happened in unit 10 and certainly wouldn’t want that kind of nonsense in my backyard!

I was always under the impression that your hunting permit is the permit to access state trust legally.

  6. Don't know 34a, but 30b, and 35a have plenty of 2wd access.  I just drove middlemarch pass in 30b a couple weeks ago and I was surprised just how much access there was for a unit known for little access.  Never had to use 4x4.

Also, you would also be surprised how versatile a 2wd can be with a locker in the rear and a little added weight. Add a winch in the front and you are almost unstoppable.

  7. Correction, they are closer to canello.  Basically between canello and parker canyon lake.  Where cimmaron road comes out and meets the road that goes down to the lake there's a valley down on the west side with private ranches, it's right in there. Very nice area.

  8. I have a pest control customer that lives near Elgin right on the border of 35a and b.  I'll probably be out there tomorrow or next day removing skunks. She also has a house she would rent out and a b&b set up.  I'll ask if she has rv hookups. Super nice people and they are hunters. I will ask.
